I agree with you. Also any big/heavy characters? Have barely played any Mega Man games or Metroid games outside the Prime trilogy and Samus Returns, but I definitely agree with you on Samus, the limited Screw Attack I kind of get (otherwise she'd be plain broken) but tying her abilities to her powerup state is just weird if you ask me.
