I got to play Seiken Densetsu 3 with a friend, it was a ton of fun. We also played a bunch of other multi-player games, it was a great way to end spring break.

I finally caught up with the schoolwork I fell behind on during my spring break and I'm feeling super relaxed.

That's great! I always procrastinate till the last minute and still somehow get good grades. I've had A/B honor roll all year. That means my grades have not dropped (or rather stayed) below a B all year.

Whoa you can extract DNA from your own body? How do you even do that?

It's pretty easy considering your whole body is kinda made of and covered in it (not meaning that completely literally, but the general concept)

I'm 95% done with a comic series right now and I'm hopefully gonna finish it today, so I'm pretty hype about that.

We used a technique called PCR which is super time consuming but it basically isolates a single segment of your DNA and then amplifies it so you have millions of copies of that particular segment. Then you can do what you like with it.

That's super cool! Thanks for sharing your sciencey science stuff!

Thanks! It sounds a lot cooler than it is, it's mostly a lot of waiting around and trying not to mess it up.

So you could turn all that DNA into a cell and replicate it to do things like repair body parts?

As far as I know you can use it mostly for genotyping, forensics, paternity testing, and cloning. This site gives some info here.
I don't think you can use it for cell regeneration (I don't know a huge amount about the applications of PCR), that's more of a thing for stem cells which are extracted differently.
