Are you sure they are being removed completely, or have you just made their layers hidden?Gremonow wrote:o.o no way man when I make ummm...about 4 show-hide events for example and I put down 200-300 coins some of them disappears, and later shows up.Cedur wrote:why? I have never heard about anything like that and never experienced it even in levels with many coins and events.Gremonow wrote:You know, if you put too much events and coins in a level, some coins will disappear.![]()
Haha, focusing only on the NSMBU, I finished only one level. :')Taycamgame wrote:Are you sure they are being removed completely, or have you just made their layers hidden?
Anyway, how much progress has been made on these episodes?
they *feel* pretty goodarcade999 wrote:By looking at the creenshots, they levels didn't seems bad, actually, they feels pretty good. However, in your dialog texts, I came across a bunch of grammar errors (thinked--->tought, hiper--->hyper, marios IS just left--->mario just left).
Oh no, I am an hypocrite for complaining about broken grammar while doing a poor little mismatch error. Also what the fuck, with your logic, YOU would also be hypocrite, since you also have grammar errors in your post., like, come on.WildWEEGEE wrote:they *feel* pretty goodarcade999 wrote:By looking at the creenshots, they levels didn't seems bad, actually, they feels pretty good. Just if your saying something about that make sure your not being a hypocrite

It's alright, just try not to repeat it.WildWEEGEE wrote:sorry for thatarcade999 wrote:Oh no, I am an hypocrite for complaining about broken grammar while doing a poor little mismatch error. I did not think clearly
I watch gameplay videos Taycamgame. And yeah I need time to make it 'cos it's harder than it sounds.Taycamgame wrote:How do you recreate these levels from NSMBU anyway? From memory, looking at images, or replaying all levels multiple times? I wouldn't be surprised if either the NSMBU remake or the 3D World remake takes the longest to create because of this.
Oh thank goodness! i so can't wait for Beta 4 then!Westretroman wrote:This is really cool! Don't rush the levels and make sure everything looks good. I suggest starting on NSMBU episode if aren't too experienced with level design or you could just work on Waluigi X for the taste of it. You could just put a toadette over Peach due to limitations, but whatever floats your boat.
EDIT: Clear Pipes are coming to SMBX2 Beta 4, keep it in your checklist, even Switch Palaces, you can stay tuned by going to the blog or the development sheet to see what cool ideas will be implemented.
I think making four episodes at once is a semi-impossible task and you should focus on one at a time to make them good, and then you can receive feedback and improve so that they get better and better.Gremonow wrote:Soon I'll give you guys another screenshots of the NSMBU Episode (yeah I'm making that one), and after the SM3DW remake I'll may work on an episode what is the remake of the Captain Toad Treasure Tracker.
It would be good, don't you think?
If you haven't contacted him then you don't have permission and shouldn't be making a sequel to itGremonow wrote:I've got permission, and I'm still trying to contact with reghrhre to ask him is he sure I can make a sequel to LFFTMK.PixelPest wrote:As Taycamgame mentioned, you shouldn't be making a sequel to Luigi's Fight for the Mushroom Kingdom without direct permission from the creator of the original episode. Do you have that?
The screenshots look pretty good. What do you plan to do in terms of lengths of each episode?
Either it won't be taken down, or SMBX in its entirety will be taken down. I don't think Nintendo would just go after individual episodes but keep the rest of SMBX alive.Taycamgame wrote:Can I suggest that you make a separate project page for each of these 4 projects? Otherwise we may get confused as to which project we're talking about if they are all on the same page. Glad your making the NSMBU remake first, just be careful not to get attention from Nintendo or it may be taken down (previous Mario remakes have been).
