In the world 9 screenshot, the path is going over the door. It is also missing a world number sign which other worlds had. Nice project.

The door is cut off.Electriking wrote:Pretty sure it's supposed to do thatTheNewGuy wrote:In the world 9 screenshot, the path is going over the door.
The door would disappear as the path goes over it (assuming it is a scenery tile). Though it does go over the castle walls which may be a problem.TheNewGuy wrote:The door is cut off.Electriking wrote:Pretty sure it's supposed to do thatTheNewGuy wrote:In the world 9 screenshot, the path is going over the door.
I agree. It looks absolutely stunning.WildWEEGEE wrote:
I love the look of the whole world map! And just asking is the hub a free walk zone?
Basically this episode consists of a number of worlds and you can travel to any world in any order. You will be able to walk around the map in the water (someone else is making a boat feature) to get to different worlds.WildWEEGEE wrote:

In any order? Oh no, they could just head straight to Bowser. I suppose BOtW did that too, but players soon learnt that they can do not have the skill yet to beat Ganon. So I guess that isn't a bad thing.Taycamgame wrote:Basically this episode consists of a number of worlds and you can travel to any world in any order. Personally I would like it if he enabled at least 1 Bowser World level and watch as people go straight there and literally get game overs.Taycamgame wrote:I don't think they can go straight to the final boss (i'm pretty sure the player needs some stars?)
But i'm only a level designer for this project so don't know the exact way it will work
Thank you!The_Loaf_Lord wrote:Wow, this looks really good so far. Keep it up!
Yes. That is the case. In this, you have to collect a star from each of the worlds (after the boss) and then you will be able to get to Varysania (the final world).Taycamgame wrote:I'm not sure what the exact plan is, but you although you can go to any world in any order (except the final one), you still have to beat the levels in a given world in the correct order. Otherwise there'd be no point in playing if you could complete it in 2 minutes
Oh yeah, about that. the worlds in this are non-linear, hence why the sign is not there. I will redo the screenshots without any signs.TheNewGuy wrote:In the world 9 screenshot, the path is going over the door. It is also missing a world number sign which other worlds had. Nice project.
yes, thanks. I'll fix that.Electriking wrote:The door would disappear as the path goes over it (assuming it is a scenery tile). Though it does go over the castle walls which may be a problem.TheNewGuy wrote: The door is cut off.
