Umm... I don't think it's a joke. It actually looks pretty good for a first try.

I have to say it, I like the episode and I'll definitely play it

But I'd recommend you to NEVER put 8 bits graphics in 16 bits levels unless they really fit, same with 32 bits graphics. In my opinion the forest part looks ugly, it's not a good idea use ghost house pillars for make roofs

Also you should never abuse like that of the worldmap BGOs

First: because some of them doesn't fit and looks too bland and ugly

Second: Some of them are in middle of the road, the background in these positions will dissapear after you complete some levels, it's a good idea do something like that but if you are going to do it, do it well and don't put random backgrounds in random places

Third and possibly the most important here: There's a BGOs limit in the worldmap

Aside from these things I want to try the episode after is finished, I'm always glad to play the episodes and levels from the new people here
