Considering the signups have significantly slowed down, you're no longer a backup but a regular player since:

• If he confesses mafia, he is most likely not lying since he isn't experienced enough to dare to make joke claims. Therefore he'd most likely be lynched the day or the day after he confessed (or get vigi'd), therefore a backup not being necessary.
• Him being unnecessarily aggressive towards MosaicMario or Zeldamaster or basically anyone is highly unlikely to reoccur due to him being tempbanned when he did that in M39.

Could you not notify me or any of those people for no good reason? If we haven't signed up by now chances are we didn't want to play in the first place.

Waddle Derp isn't able to play this game as far as I know.
PixelPest is rather busy afaik and TNT as he stated doesn't seem interested.
And Megar seems rather quiet too on mutual discord servers so I doubt that any of those 4 will join.

Nice to see a newcomer, I hope you will enjoy playing Mafia.
I recommend you to read the rules and observe one of the previous mafia games in the past. Firstly this game might look kind of complicated but after the first time it will be way simpler to understand, so welcome to Mafia.
Also I urge you to join the smbx discord server since some of the strategizing happens there. (the mafiosi also tend to discuss their actions in a group DM on discord)
So yeah, hope you'll enjoy your first time.

Considering RSuper's original intention was being a backup for the101marioguy I guess it's safe to make her a regular player for real now...

I just turn off the quote on my notify setting but I will turn it on someday lol. Anyways, I don't know if I should sign as a player because from what Danny said, am I still allowed to be sign as a player?

Danny is only saying ShadowStarX cannot make you a regular player if you sign up as a back-up unless you tell ShadowStarX you want to play normally. So it really comes down to: Do you want to sign up as a normal player, or stay a backup. Your decision. If you say backup after this, you are pretty much stuck as a backup until someone gets replaced which is not that common. You would still be expected to play at the moment's notice if that ungodly event did happen though.
