its only point is "preventing bias" but the candidates for that have such a clear design style that it's p easy for judges to figure out who they are. it also allows participants to get some public feedback on their contest levels before submitting (ie screenshot thread, discord)

Already about halfway done with my entry, so hoping to get it submitted within the next week or so. Good luck everyone!

I'm happy that the people came to the conclusion of removing that silly rule.. now it feels like an actual contest where you can get feedback from both the judges and the public instead of hiding what you made for a month.

With that said i'm gonna submit to this, dunno about my design and stuff i haven't take part in any contests for a year by now.

well showing levels now in public does make the contest SUPER

I pretty much know I'm probably not gonna be finishing my level in time, but I'm gonna join anyway because why not? Also, like how you don't have to make your level in secret anymore.

If you don't submit, you're not joining. Participating actually requires you to, you know... participate.

I'm joining with hopes to finish the level before I go to the University.

I'm in. Why not? Maybe i can get a good result (but this is 99% uncertain).

I'm 100% in, but I won't over use any onion layers for the better.

You know, I had actually already started a level for this, knowing that a contest like this would happen.

Whoops, what I meant to say was that I probably wouldn't get my level finished in time (Which has happened every time I've entered a contest except for SVLC 2016) . Curse me and my terrible wording.

You have 6 weeks to make a level. That's more than enough time.
