Over the course of the last few years i have re-watched most of the older simpsons episodes and noticed a whole bunch of innuendos i missed when i was a kid. it's always been a part of the show. however the new seasons lack emotion imo, and the animation style is too clean and polished so it kinda makes it seem a bit lifeless. it's difficult to explain, and i actually still find it to be really funny at times, but it has nothing on season 5.

family guy is also not as good as it was, but i think even seth knows this. iirc he wanted to end it years ago.

I'm pretty sure it isn't out yet, so there's no way you'd know if it's gonna be shitty or not. I think you're just assuming it's shit because of the PPG reboot and TTG (Kinda like how you judged PM: Color Splash based on Sticker Star).
