Over the course of the last few years i have re-watched most of the older simpsons episodes and noticed a whole bunch of innuendos i missed when i was a kid. it's always been a part of the show. however the new seasons lack emotion imo, and the animation style is too clean and polished so it kinda makes it seem a bit lifeless. it's difficult to explain, and i actually still find it to be really funny at times, but it has nothing on season 5.Loafy-Shrooms wrote:The Simpsons slowly dissolved into a show where there was a sexual reference every 5 seconds
family guy is also not as good as it was, but i think even seth knows this. iirc he wanted to end it years ago.
