As far as I know you don't require redigit's permission to remake his levels.

Guess what guys? I've decided to let you, the audience, make some of the levels! I'm going to start an open level contest and let some of you guys out there make some levels. All you need to do is make a level acording to one of the styles I'll tell you soon enough and send a download link to me in a PM named "Contest level".
The best levels will be used in the episode, and I'll even give credit to the original levels' creators!
Now, make a level that's either wild west or future styled, but NOT of both styles!
Good luck!

Yes. You can use ANY music, in fact.

Good news, guys & gals!
Demo 1 is ready for downloading and playing! Check out the download link spoiler at the beginning of this topic.
I recommend you to replace some of the musics and sounds in the game's source files with the ones included in the 1st download link's attachment for full experience.
Also, give me feedback here about the demo.

Hey guys!
I've got some GREAT news!
The second demo is almost done and ready for downloading and testing!
This demo has a new almost complete world, featuring Sonic.exe. This world has some gore in it and a few screamers here and there, as well as a few begginer traps and of course some easter eggs!
The story of this world is mainly based on MrDragonboy96's "Meets Sonic?" Saga. Don't worry, though. I already asked him for permission and he allowed me to do this.
As I'm prepering some final preperations for the update, here's an image for the update:

PS,
Pay attention to what's written at the bottom of the image.

Did you get permission to use that image from the original artist? Also, I think that putting Sonic.exe in your episode isn't a good idea, since he's pretty much universally hated.
Also, MrDragonboy's levels are generally disliked in this community, just saying.

A. Yes, I told you already that I am asking for permission before doing anything else, INCLUDING the from the original artist.
B. Unlike the rest of the episode, MrDragonboy96's stages aren't just recycled- I made them from ABSOLUTE scratch, based on his playthrough videos of these stages on YouTube (Fun fact: I did it mainly because I couldn't download the original stages), with some extras and level design changes.

I don't think you ever told me about that. Also, why is Sonic.exe even in this episode to begin with, he seems really out of place.

Look, buddy.
I'm not looking for an arguement right now.
I think the only reason why people would hate Sonic.exe is because all the bad fan games featuring him. I ADORE the original Sonic.exe (the one from the original creepypasta), and his appearance in my episode isn't mainly about all these crazy screamers and pathetic Sonic.exe cliches, but rather about skill testing: Fast thinking instead of expected jumpscares, begginer traps instead of cheap deaths, parkouring instead of just moving right, etc. Because THAT'S the way a modern horror game should be like. (The world exclusive to the new update is the "horror game" in this case)

Once again, I recommend you to replace some of the musics and sounds in the SMBX app source files with the ones included in the 1st download link's attachment for full experience, especially because this time there are new sounds that should make you feel as if you're playing a modern mario game.
I remind you that you MUST attach the added musics in the 2 other links to the folder of the episode itself, since it uses custom music almost exclusively.
Don't forget to give me feedback about the new demo IN THIS TOPIC.

No, the original creepypasta is also considered really bad by the majority of people (To the point of being considered a trollpasta). Also, I just said he was out of place, not that he was a bad addition. Also, I'm pretty sure beginner traps count as cheap deaths too, correct me if I'm wrong.

Why don't you use music.ini or sounds.ini files and include the replacing sounds and replace them that way just for the episode?

Technically beginner traps aren't cheap deaths.
What does count as a cheap death is something unavoidable like starting at a room filled with spikes or lava that has no door or way out.
Plus, begginer traps teach the players to be aware and not let their guards down, just like in the FNAF games.

Files that configure settings. You may find them in your OS or settings. For sounds and music, they allow you to make custom music for maps and custom sounds without requiring players to replace anything in 2.0. It works by having your music annd sound files in the episode folder and in the .ini file you type in the ID and then the file next to it. There is a page about it in the PGE Wiki

I don't even know how to make files of this kind, but if I'll figure out how, I'll consider doing what you suggested, OK?
Besides that, it seems like you guys didn't even download the demo judging by the fact that nobody posted here any feedback. Please try the episode. You won't regret it.

You can just make a a .txt file and when saving it, call it Music.ini/Sounds.ini (You may need to change the type to any).
