Well, what if they targeted the same person? (even though the odds are very low for that)

well, it's a couple of possible scenarios:

1) someone with nightkill immunity was targeted or the Doctor saved someone successfully (likely)
2) Mafia or TP followed an awkward strategy by not using their kill or they both targeted witchking (less likely and ninja'd above)

I think since the Third Party is a single person, they didn't get their kill in during the first night because they weren't around? The likelihood of that seems pretty plausible, since it has happened in the past.

Yeah it's not too unlikely that the third party is just being inactive. Wouldn't be the first time. The third party may have also been coincidentally roleblocked by the Twilight Priest.

Upon closer inspection of the role list, it's also possible albeit very unlikely that the third party (enchanter) recruited a lunatic last night, which would be pretty bad.

Lets hope that didn't happen, because those odds are incredibly slim.

So there's been a bit of confusion of announcing attempts on doctor saves and attempts on players with immunity ... Waddle Derp, you've said that a successful doctor save is announced as such unless it was a save on an already immune player, so you never announce an attempt on an immune player, right? (Because there obviously shouldn't be a distinction between doctor save and immunity).

Also, there's a lot of nightkill immunities in this game, so it's likely that the nightkill was stopped. Since each killing party has 2 opposing nightkill immune role, I think it's very plausible that something like that occured

To clarify, if either of the Acolytes or the Enchanter is targeted for a nightkill this is not announced. If a protected player is attacked, this will be announced.

As the medic definetly failed to protect someone, this possibility is discarded. However it is possible that either Mafia or TP targeted a immune person. We also can't forget that the priest can roleblock. Now, if town was really, and I mean REALLY unlucky, the third party targeted a lunatic and got him on his side. If it is true, the recruited lunatic will probably tell who the other lunatic is and the enchanter will have two people at his side, which will drastically reduce the town's chance of winning.
But then again, as Pseudo and Danny pointed out, there is the possibility that the third party is inactive.
