I had a play of it, and the gameplay adheres very well to the styling of the levels, with the stars being worked into it quite nicely rather than just shoving them down our throats as a plot device as many recent episodes have demonstrated. However, I've noticed quite a bit of spam in some levels, such as the Cheep-Cheep/Blooper spam in Peach's castle and the Hammer Bro. spam in a few levels of world 3, making the levels much harder than they should be. The latter is notable because the ice physics don't help.

So far it's decent, I'm still in World 1 as of writing this... but 1-3 unnecessarily frustrated me.
Since the Red Paratroopa was necessary to advancing through the level, and I killed it, I had to restart the level.
That kind of puzzle would be somewhat acceptable later on in the episode, but this early can just put some people off from continuing.
Also that first star in 1-1, I swear it glitched for me, because I killed everything in the cave and it didn't appear.
Otherwise it's a decent homage to SMB1 and doesn't stray too far at all from the formula that game has.

So uh, I clicked on both links and both of them had the file being eliminated, is there a way to solve this problem?

I apparently don't have this problem by downloading those files especially from dropbox. Are you sure your browser can check those websites? If not then try a different browser to see if it persists the problem.

Oh wait, nvm. I resolved that problem weeks ago xD It was a silly dumb mistake I had.
And about the episode, i'm in B-1 as of writing this and I love it so far Love how you actually take SMB1 and re-invent it in a new form and way in a way that makes it really unique. Like how it has way more elements and nps to it like you take these nps from other themes and you add the SMB1 theme to it. I also noticed how hard the episode is. Lucky myself that i'm quite good at mario, but can tell this way made for the players who are really good. There were levels that I got stuck on (6-1, 6-4, 8-2, 8-3, 8-4, and especially 9-1)

Nice to hear I guess you will have problems with level C-3 in my opinion that is the second hardest level in the game next to Bowsers castle.
