In a ballot box game, votes made publicly during the day are meaningless. You can say who you're voting for and lobby for some player to be lynched, but the vote count is not publicly visible - actual votes are made by PM and only Syndril knows what the totals are.

You probably shouldn't have even made that post. It's pretty obvious and you should be able to figure this out yourself.
I never said I would or would not do it, but stating it out might help our allies, and people may be less likely to do it if it is on their mind.

As another rules clarification, each role may use any of their abilities (including weapons, if you are given one or started with one) more than once throughout the entire game, with the exception of the Murderer's Induct ability and the FBI Agent's Recruit ability. This should clear up any misconceptions that the abilities (and weapons) of roles can only be used once, period.

By the way, I'm a townsperson! Just a regular townsperson, not paranoid.

I'm just trying to boost activity, folks, you don't necessarily have to believe me. Claims might be useful going further into the game, though, since townies know whether they're paranoid or not.

I actually did not know that. Quite good to know...

Actually got extremely busy out of nowhere, but I'll switch phases now.
In the middle of the night, glitch4 was taking a stroll when he was mysteriously shot and killed.
It is now Day 1! It will end at 11:30 PM EST on November 2nd, or if there are 8 or more lynch votes on a single player.

I assume that the Murderer frightened someone first, to induct them next night. Would a frightened townie know that they're frightened (as well as a Paranoid Townie going through therapy)?

I really do not know actually. If anyone got a gun, would it be wise for them to say, or does that just make them a target?

It would probably be very stupid to tell someone you have a gun or a knife since basically you are telling them "hey, I can kill a person" So if players have but a slight clue you are the murderer or cohort, you are lynched. If they don't believe you know who the murderer is, you are also lynched. And, the murderer will ofcourse try to kill you in the night to prevent his own death.

If you believe you can trust someone as a townsperson, there should be nothing wrong with claiming gun/knife to them - it's no different from claiming vigilante.
Also, yeah, do townspeople know that they've been frightened/therapized, Syndril?

Although I suppose there is a cult leader running amok, so we should be careful about claims, especially as paranoid townies...

I think there should be claims on actions at least (e.g. claim that you have received something). This could help at least to narrow down the pool of suspects. (Also yeah it's obvious that the FBI dude has killed glitch4, since items can't be used the night you received them)
Also Danny, the way I read it, is the psychatrist able to do anything as long as they don't have a knife or gun?

Yeah, that might be a good idea, though claiming a gun/knife has a pretty good chance of getting you killed.

Additonally, if you have a knife or gun, don't use them recklessly.

I hope nobody is planning to lynch someone today, since it would require lots of luck to catch the murderer this soon.
Also, if the Agent gets in contact with the Psychiatrist, would it be wise for him to first give the Psychiatrist a gun and only try to get a partner investigator after that?

The problem is that lynch voting is Ballot-Boxed. The murderer can anonymously send in a vote and have someone killed if anybody else isn't voting. So, submitting a random vote is better than the town not voting at all.
Danny, are we allowed to use Discord for vote submission?
