NIGHT 1 has ended!

Spinda was walking down the street when someone put him... on ice.
Spinda has died! He was a Townsperson.

It is now DAY 1! Day 1 will end around 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, September 15, or earlier if there are enough votes for an insta.

The Anti-Person, since this is Night 1 I'll allow you inactivity for just this phase. From now on, if anyone does not post for 24 IRL hours, they will be killed at the start of the next phase.

So a green has died! Not as bad as a blue dieing, but still, not good.

The whole inactivity stuff is weird...
Yet, we already lost one townsperson.

We still haven't heard that much from the other people yet, though the day just started so eventually something could happen.

There isn't really any inactivity, it's just that nobody really speaks during the night phase, especially the first one.

hmm... I don't think there is much to say from the first night.

I also find it strange that not much went on and yet Spinda was the first townsperson dead.
I'm sort of surprised, really...

Typically, during the first night, the Mafia choose a random player to kill, since there isn't any strategy that happens during that time.

Is this your first time playing Mafia?

First time actually playing one without a bunch of things in my way.

Yare yare, so are we gonna lynch randomly or just let the day pass, yet it is still early, i just want to know, as we never have plan in the first place.

It's just a euphemism and it alludes to the presumably winter time frame of this game, don't look into it more than that.

So anyone have any ideas on what we should do today?

I know while we're setting up a plan, something will eventually happen, we don't want to waste our votes.

A couple of questions first after looking through the role list:

Since the Associate knows their comrades, they'll just simply give a gun to another Mafia member early in the game for an additional nightkill? It would be more interesting if he had to give the gun to a townsperson.

If the Caroler uses his ability, only alive players will be mentioned, right?

When Santa gives out an item at night, can it be used immediately?


Anyway, Spinda probably died because it's a common fate of experienced players to die early.

I'm a normal townie, so all blues can claim to me to start a blue alliance (I don't see any loopholes for that), so we could at least vote someone who's not blue.

Also, has TNTtimelord been put up as a backup, as far and as soon as we kick out someone for inactivity?

Why would we just trust you for no reason?
