hmm yeah that's because in the original game (SMB3) there is no ice flower and so I take the Graphic of SMBX.

well on my side its bugs alot but your sprites made me the idea of a new map(il credit you surely)

i was planning on doing something like this for a while but i gotta say you did this better than i ever could
there were a few gfx i noticed that exceeded the 3 colors per sprite rule but it never ruined the immersion so it doesn't bother me (plus i know nothing
about actual nes graphics the 3 color rule could be a lie for all i know)
props to you my friend this is some really fine work you did here

Hey, I noticed this project. It looks like Blue Protoman's 8bit SMW blocks could come in handy for this one, which are ported by me to my GFX pack many years ago. I wonder if the creator is still here, though...

Just now I found this after FutureNyanCat2014's bump, and I tried it to run on TheXTech (using my packed game porting kit), and heh, it works:
Good job on this!

And yeah, there is a little incompletion, and I see the way to improve it, so, I could use NSF songs to reduce the sound size and apply some of my own NES rips I made some times ago to improve the sounding quality. Also yeah, there are many graphics at episode wasn't turned into NES style, so, there is still be a lot of work to do, but the concept overall is good.

Oh yeah with SDL Mixer X this is going to help a lot in the long run! No more extended MP3s for 8bit music and stuff, just plop in NSF files and you're good to go.
