It's an instant messaging chat. People don't care about saying anything constructive, helpful, or polite. We want to send silly things to each other as quickly as possible and there is never much thinking between messages.

If you want a decent discussion or you need help, come to the forums. You'll kinda find what you're looking for.

I still love the chat. Even though people ignore me sometimes. This is what chatrooms are like. With rules but with fun. You know what I mean. Plus, too much licking! >~<

I can take it. The problem isn't that people use the chat for anything they want. The problem is that why even have rules if people just use the chat however they want and don't get banned from it.

Please note that "lewd comments" and bad language/stupidity, even though they aren't explicitly mentioned in the IRC rules or forum rules, are not things that are intrinsically part of the chat or things that are tolerated 100% of the time.

Oh people get in trouble, it's just we have active operators not very often, so it doesn't happen very often.
