Snifit, you are aware that compassion fatigue is a thing and that society will just be demoralized more and more with each new attack right? It should be left to those affected to deal with the emotions of the attacks, and the leader should do more to take action to protect his people since that's his job. François Hollande would be the best example in recent memory of this, since he went forward with military strikes against ISIS in a smart way after the Paris attacks. France is bombing ISIS oil sites in retaliation which cuts them off at the head, while Turkey is seen as basically an under the table ally of ISIS with how poorly they're taking them on.

Stop right there. Don't accuse us of being an under the table ally of ISIS. Or are you still stuck up in this people from the east are bad people??

SnifitGuy wrote:How is Turkey an "ally" of ISIS in any way? I don't see anyone like Russia or China attacking ISIS either, and they ain't considered "allies"...
Russia is Syria's ally; they're the ones doing most against ISIS while the west is trying to figure out how to best tie their arms behind their backs with military conflict (i.e. hurr durr should we send boots on the ground??? should we have a no fly zone???) China has nothing to do with the conflict, nor does anyone but Russia and Syria for that matter, and they're not aiding ISIS in any way so they're not allies or enemies.

My pernicious beliefs about people from the east being bad people has nothing to do with it. Turkey is turning the other way to illegal oil smuggling to ISIS, and is attacking people who are fighting ISIS such as Russia and Syrian Kurds. That's why I'm accusing. I'd mention the profit of the conflicts too, but everyone is doing that with Syria so that's where I give Turkey a pass.

Another attack, another condemnation. Get used to this.

I don't think that attitude is the best approach to a serious situation such as this.

Honestly AeroMatter, people are dying here. This really isn't something that should be joked about, probably. "Getting used" to terrorist bombings is not really a world that I think any of us want to live in.

I agree with this. Why would anyone want to get used in a world of terroristic attacks? But also agree with Kyo Saito. This is a pretty damn attitude.
AeroMatter i want you to go outside of the forum, walk towards someone from the turkey and call him a terrorist and say that the entire turkey is an ally of ISIS. Or any other country that you think of are allies of it.
I do respect peoples opinions and stuff when it comes to serious discussions, but i do not respect such behaviour and disrespectful comments. Sure mourning everytime may piss of some people, but that doesn't give anyone the right to joke about it.

Get over yourselves. This is going to happen again, nothing I've said so far is wrong, and you're concerned with my attitude on the internet while people are being blown up. I don't know for the life of me why I bother commenting honestly.

Then maybe stop commenting??? No one is stopping you from it. And yes there is something wrong like accusing others being part of isis when they not.

If you're upset that Turkey is helping ISIS then call them out for it. Don't get all sensitive instead of trying to refute my accusations; it just looks bad.

Zipper wrote:This is the breaking point in my opinion. I'm strongly inclined to agree with the thought that Turkey is NOT doing enough to counter ISIS, and this can be seen by the repeated condemnations that add up to diddly squat. However, being shoved aside as an "ally" is pushing it, bordering on offensive.
They turn their back on a lot of stuff to the point where they might as well be. Just the stuff I mentioned so far (shooting down a Russian plane, meddling in Syria, turning the other way to oil smuggling) would be enough for me to label them basically an ally, and those are just drops in a bucket compared to the other
international criticisms against Turkey with the ISIS situation. Again this isn't about being offensive, I'm just making a point and only my apparent tone and attitude is being gone after without refutation to any of my actual points.

Well, look's like another war we shouldn't be involved in. I get that we want to help those in need at every possible occasion, but it has MANY bad repercussions on Americans.
You wanna get outta bankruptcy? This isn't helping your case, America.

We need to build a wall on the Syria-Turkey border, and make ISIS pay for it. It would literally solve the terror problems.

How many terror attacks in turkey have actually involved ISIS? Isn't Turkey dealing with some sort of rebellion that started up again due to ISIS creating instability in the mideast?

I'm confident this is impossible.
