I'm able to keep track of the colors, but other people might feel confused since red is associated with mafia. A person may just yell someone is red and accidentally cause town to lose.

Mafia
Pirate Big Boss - A Mafia member and leader that can choose any color he/she wants that is in the game. Is Big Boss and is a pirate. Has two eyepatches, one for each eye. Is Immune to night kills.
Painter - A Mafia member that can paint a person a colour that he/she choose for that person. Can not paint a person twice and can not paint him/her self. Can only paint players every other night. The paintings last until the next day. Works with the Mafia to get rid of the town.
Secretary - A mafia that can inspect a player to learn thier colour.
Pablo - A mafia that lynch vote counts as 2. Will count as 3 if a mafia member dies.
Thatstalkerguy - Watchs other players and who they visited. Stays red though..,



Town

Sheriff - A town that can learn the role of one person each night. Works with the town to lynch the Mafia off.
Deputy - A town who become the Sheriff when the Sheriff dies, and know who the Sheriff is. Works with the town to lynch off the and the Mafia.
Doctor - Can heal a player one night, and can only self heal once. Know the identity of the Trainee Doctor. Works with town to get rid of mafia.
Trainee Doctor - Becomes doctor if the original doctor dies. Can never self-heal when they become the new doctor. Has contact with the doctor. Works with town to get rid of mafia.
Vigilante - A town who can kill a player each night but if he/she kills a town then the Vigilante must give his/hers role to a town and if the Vigilante dies then they must then their role will be given to a random town. Works with the town to get rid of the Mafia.
Jailor - Can jail a player night. When a player is jail they can not use thier role nor can they talk that night. The jail can kill the ayer who is in jail if needed. Those who are in jail will not know who the jailor is. Message from the jailor will come from the host. If they kill an innocent they are no longer a jailer.
Survivalist - can put on a vest each night to protect the player from every and any night kill that night. If use and not targeted then the vest will be wasted. Has 5 vest.
Arnold Schwarzenegger - A townsperson who's lynch vote counts as 2. Counts as 3 when a mafia dies.
Crying Crier - He can pm the host to send anonymous messages. Can only send 5 a day. Can do it during the night also, but carries on from the earlier days voicings.
TheMemeWatcher - Can watch and player and see who thry visited that night. The person they watched will be their color for the day.
Independent


Bester - They want to get lynched, if they get lynched then they can kill a player that lynch them. If they get nightkilled, then they die. Once in the game can revive self and change role entirely by stealing an alive player's role. Only available once and if they died during the night. They will stay neutral and can either win by being lynched or last man standing depending if they were lynched first or if they took a player's role. Does not override other teams winning if they were lynched abd instead wins along with them.
Amnesiac - This character has amnesia, so it does nit know what it does, (it does know it is an amnesiac though), this character can choose a player in the graveyard(people that have died) and have their role. By doing so, they now are on their team (and mafia will know the amnesiac has join them). Win with town unless role has changed.

Witch
- a player that can control a player to make that player to do their role on someone that the witch chooses. If the player can inspect people then both players will know the colour. The player will know they have been controlled by the witch.
Executioner - Cardflips Red.
If the person who they want to be lynched is lynch then there lynch vote counts for 2. Joins the opposing party's team of who he/she wanted to lynch, (example, wants a mafia to be lynched, joins town, wants a town to be lynched, joins mafia, wants an independent to be lynched, works alone) or just win by being the last one standing.
The Executioner chooses their target at the beginning of the game.
Cthulhu - If a player visits cthulhu, they are silenced. In return their ability is amplified to be used twice. This only works one time for the visitor. cthulhu gets the ability to use their if they have been visited. If they visit anyone only their role they are using will work. Wins if the the first person who visited them wins. If not sided with any team, he disables town from winning.

IMPORTANT NOTES


- The Pirate Big Boss player must chose their colour at the start
- Mafia wins if the independents are dead and the town has equal people as mafia people.
- Town wins if the independents are dead and the Mafia are all dead.
- The painter can paint people the colors that are available in the game.
-Mafia members know who other Mafia members are.
- Players must send role use age pms to at night, as role can only be used at night, excluding a few...
- Message pms to other players must be given to host also.
- There will be an announcement in the game when the amnesiac changes their role, but will not know who is the amnesiac.
- Executioner has one time night kill immunity when sided with town or mafia, and has all time night kill immunity when sided independent.

All these games look really fun to play. I'd use one of my old mafia games here, but I'd rather be a player then a host.

Could do without the aggressive tones though as that sucks the fun and puts angst into the game once whatever goes live, but who am I to say?

i didn't mean that as a literal YOU "you", but in general. if someone is playing a game about deduction and logical thinking and is completely thrown off track by the fact that two colors are swapped they may wish to consider playing a different game. it's really not a huge deal if people are insistent about wanting standard colors, but it's kind of downright silly to suggest that it's going to "throw the game" because, as I've said, if the players can't handle two colors being reversed i don't think they were going to win anyways.

you'd be totally right in any kind of game about fast, reactionary play, but this is a game about slowing down and thinking.

Similarly, Mafia is very underpowered. The generic Mafioso at least needs to be given a power, and they should probably compose a larger percentage of the game as well.
The bomber is actually OK, it seems really interesting and is pretty balanced.
However, the traitors are underpowered, though I'd say slightly less underpowered than the Mafia. Since they're semi-independent, I'd grant them increased powers instead of more members. It's really up to you, though.

@Town - Removed Priest to allow another mafia and b/c priest is op; changed lookout to seeing only who visits the targeted player; changed vigilante to if he kills a townie, he DIES the next day; changed dancer so their abilities won't work on Retributionist/Lietuenant; Changed one gunsmith to double voter
@3-5 blues, a game with all blues CAN work. It just needs to be balanced well. See: Town of Salem as an example of a game with all "blues"
@Mafia - Changed Mafioso to Charismatic Mafioso; Added Silencer
@Traitors - Doubled the frequency of the abilities.

M27 A Special Game

Townies (12/20)

BodyGuard - May protect one player from death each night. Causes bodyguard and attacker's death
Doctor - May heal a player each night, preventing them from death. One self heal
Sheriff - May inspect a player each night to learn of their color.
Lookout - May watch to see who visits the targeted player that night (if anyone) If the player is killed, only one of the members of the mafia/traitors will be revealed.
Vigilante - May kill a player each night; if killing a townie, he DIES the next day (I.E. Kills town on night 1, dies day 1)
Escort - May distract one player each night and prevent his/her ability from activating.
Gunsmith - May give a user a gun each night; Guns have a 75% chance of revealing who used them; has to use his ability daily; no stock pile; only used during daytime
DoubleVoter - Lynch votes count as two
Lieutenant - Can choose during the night to host a second lynching during the day where a second player gets lynched alongside the first.
Retributionist - Can Revive the dead twice per game; if he dies with revives left, he comes back to life
Veteran - May choose to go alert each night and kill any players who visit him. limited to 3 alerts
Dancer - able to allow a person to use their roles twice; Cannot pick the same target twice in a row; does not work on retributionist/lietuanant

All of these roles cannot target themselves


Mafia (5/20)
Yakuza - Upon death by circumstances, gets to choose a player to convert to mafia. The converted player can use his first ability 1 more time. Conversions will be announced to town. (IE A town member has been converted to mafia) If he picks a non-town member, conversions won't work.
Lawyer - Can paint one of his mafia members blue each night; painting wears off during daytime.
Consort - Can roleblock someone each day
Chramistic Mafioso - daytime votes count as 2
Silencer - Allowed to Silence a person per day


Neutral (1/20)

Bomber - May place a bomb on a target each night. At daytime, the bomb wears off. If his choice is killed during the night a bomb ignites and starts a countdown. After 3 days, everyone except the bomber dies. Has 1 bulletproof vest that he can use at any time


Traitors (2/20); Goal kill everyone (They do not know any mafia/townies. Likewise, the townies/mafia won't know who they are)
Town Traitor - Can choose someone to kill along with the mafia traitor; Granted TWO random townie abilities every night. The ability will only come from ALIVE roles.
Mafia Traitor - Can choose someone to kill along with the town traitor; Every DAY allowed to investigate a player to find out their EXACT Role

The Claw are a group of Shadows in our poor, innocent Town. They need to be eradicated in addition to the normal threat of the Mafia to keep us all safe. The Town has trained some Shadows of their own to help take down the Claw, and the Mafia.

M__: Dark Shadows


The Mafia

Rogue Shadowhunter: A Shadow. Cannot be lynched by the Town. Allows the Mafia to kill a Member of the Claw or a Town Shadow as their nightly murder. If both Rogue Shadowhunters are killed, the Mafia can no longer kill Shadows.
Rogue Shadowhunter
Dark Alchemist: Can choose to silence a player or block a player’s ability each night. Can do this to a Shadow.
Ridiculer: Can find out the colour of any player each night. That player cannot use their ability the following night. Can do this to a Shadow.

The Town
Shadowhunter: Can kill any player between the Shadowhunters (1 total) overnight, including another Shadow. If they kill a member of the Town, both will lose their ability for the following night. Know who each other are, but do not know the identity of the other Shadows. Cannot be lynched.
Shadowhunter
Shadow Watcher: Can discover the colour of any player during the night. Cannot be lynched.
Shadow Ignorant: Has the powers of a Shadow but refuses to use them; acts as a regular Townie. Cannot be lynched.
Shady Guy: Knows who the Shadows are (including the Rogue Shadowhunters), but doesn't know their exact identities--he just knows that they are blue. They do not know him.

M27: Chaos of Powers
Some fuckers (the mafia) decided to go against the town for no reason and every special is too scared of them to use their power, so they can only give it to someone else, hoping that he isn't a bad dude.

-15 players

-The game starts with a starting phase of 12 hours where specials can give their power to someone. The mafia can't kill, too. After this phase the game goes to the night phase and continues in the night-day cycle.
-Specials can give their power in the day and it'll be used in the night. The players who have got a power and didn't use it won't be able to use in the next night.

I'm just gonna submit the last game I submitted. It was approved before, but if anybody has any criticisms or recommendations, don't hesitate to let me know.

M27- Bomb Squad

-20 players.
-Cardflip.
-Town wins if all the Mafia is killed.
-Mafia wins if the Mafia number equals or outnumbers the Town.
-Third Party wins if he's the last one standing.
-Roles can only be used at night.
-Lynch votes must be in bolded red. If you don't bold it that's fine, but if the lynch vote isn't red, it won't be counted.

Detonation Squad
Detonation Commander: Leader of the Detonation Squad. Lynch vote counts as two, and he cardflips as green unless inspected, in which he cardflips red. Discusses with his fellow Mafiosi who to kill.
Lady Inferno: The Commander's wife. She has the ability to set a player on fire, causing them to be injured, meaning that the selected player will not be able to speak the next night phase.
Human Bomb: A maniac that is willing to blow himself up to assist the Mafia. He has the ability to blow himself up, killing himself and a player of his choice. Discusses with his fellow Mafiosi who to kill.
Crazy Scientist: A wacko scientist who was involved in the Manhattan Project. He has the ability to poison a player with chemicals, causing the player to cardflip red the next day. Discusses with his fellow Mafiosi who to kill. Paintings wear off the next phase, and the player is only affected the following day phase.
Smokescreen: The Detonation Squad gave him this nickname because he loves using smoke bombs. He has the ability to throw a smoke bomb into the Defusing Squad's base, making the player of his choice's color black for the day phase. Discusses with his fellow Mafiosi who to kill.


Defusing Squad
Defusing Commander: Leader of the Defusing Squad. He has the ability to inspect a player each night to learn his or her color. Will not receive the picked player's color until the day phase to protect the sanction of balancing. Also, the Crazy Scientist's and Smokescreen's ability will not change the color of the player that the Defusing Commander inspects during inspection.
Lady Ocean: The Commander's wife. She has the ability to wash a player away to an isolated island, disabling the selected player's ability for the night.
Bomb Specialist: A bomb specialist who is assisting the Defusing Squad. He has the ability to defuse a bomb of the Detonation Squad, saving a selected player from death. Can only self-heal once throughout the entire game.
Breacher: Has the ability to breach a possible Detonation Squad base and kill a player inside. He gets put on probation for a night if he kills a member of the Defusing Squad, meaning that his ability will be disabled the next night. Additionally, if he kills a member of the Detonation Squad, his lynch vote counts as 2 the following day phase.
Defuser: An ordinary member of the Defusing Squad with no special ability. Assists the Defusing Squad by using their Mafia skill and participates in daily lynching.

Intellect: A rather clever member of the Defusing Squad. He has no special ability, but he is in contact with the other Intellect.

Oddball: A rather odd member of the Detonation Squad. He means well, but he tends to act rather nervous and suspicious often. Cardflips red. Doesn't know he's the Oddball.


Third Party
Arsonist: Lady Inferno's long, lost son who specializes in fire. Each night, he's able to kill one player. Wins if he's the last one standing and he's immune to night kills.
