I'm able to keep track of the colors, but other people might feel confused since red is associated with mafia. A person may just yell someone is red and accidentally cause town to lose.Ignoritus wrote:8flight wrote:Ignoritus can you use the standard colors for your game?
It's hard to adjust when red becomes blue, blue becomes red, green becomes yellow and yellow becomes green
no sorry i have to be edgy
in all seriousness honestly if u cant keep track of what color means what in the actual game you are probably not paying enough attention that you should be playing a game about deduction and reasoning

Pseudo-dino wrote:The Dreamer seems pretty overpowered, especially in a game that also has a sheriff (and deputy).
The Crying Crier may also be a bit overpowered, with how many messages it has the ability to send.
The jester is not usually considered a very fun role, but you're free to include it if you want.

Approved, though.

That quote is aggressive though.Nato wrote:All these games look really fun to play. I'd use one of my old mafia games here, but I'd rather be a player then a host.
Could do without the aggressive tones though as that sucks the fun and puts angst into the game once whatever goes live, but who am I to say?

i didn't mean that as a literal YOU "you", but in general. if someone is playing a game about deduction and logical thinking and is completely thrown off track by the fact that two colors are swapped they may wish to consider playing a different game. it's really not a huge deal if people are insistent about wanting standard colors, but it's kind of downright silly to suggest that it's going to "throw the game" because, as I've said, if the players can't handle two colors being reversed i don't think they were going to win anyways.8flight wrote:I'm able to keep track of the colors, but other people might feel confused since red is associated with mafia. Updated the role listPseudo-dino wrote:Town is super overpowered. No offense intended, but there's a reason why there are usually only 3-5 blues.
Similarly, Mafia is very underpowered. The generic Mafioso at least needs to be given a power, and they should probably compose a larger percentage of the game as well.
The bomber is actually OK, it seems really interesting and is pretty balanced.
However, the traitors are underpowered, though I'd say slightly less underpowered than the Mafia. Since they're semi-independent, I'd grant them increased powers instead of more members. It's really up to you, though.

yeah looks good

Spinda wrote:Way too many roles with lynch immunity. 9/19 players are immune to lynches and that's like super extreme, especially considering how lynching is way more likely to harm the town than the mafia since 8/10 lynchable roles are townies. That way, lynches are actually not the optimal way to progress the game on the town side and that excludes a townie from the game even more.
Why does the assasin of the Claw lose their ability temporarily if they kill a townie? The town actually has to get rid of the Claw so that's kinda strange.
Also I don't like how all Claw members are lynch immune. That's super op.
Still not that fond on the lynch immunity but at least it's more balanced now.

Pseudo-dino wrote:The Role Roulette mechanic would be really confusing and not all that fun IMO. I really can't approve a game that has something like that; I feel like it's directly against the spirit of Mafia game mechanics (everybody collects evidence using their powers and interrogation to find out who people are. I can give you a better review if you remove or change that mechanic (if it were consolidated to a single player power that could change someone's role I'd be good with that, for example.
Pseudo-dino wrote:Yeah this is probably fairly balanced, in an "everyone is overpowered" sort of way. I'll approve it.
