I agree with the name change as well, it doesn't feel like an "invasion" either so the name doesn't fit very well.

What could be done is accept people suggestions and let them vote for the one they want.

I'd prefer to keep the name "The Invasion 3", but if everybody else wants to change it, I suppose I can't argue with that.

Oh yeah, I forgot about TI 3 when I shut down SMBX:R. Actually I'd rather you lock this topic and discuss this privately with me via PM's. Hit me up. Thanks!

They should change the name. In fact the King Boo story doesn't sound like invasion related.

I disagree, the whole forum should hear what's discussed, because anything's approved we users will be part of it.

None of that was released as official information. I agree that The Invasion 3 is too complex though. Keep in mind we started building on the foundation from SMBX United (world 1 was already done when the team restarted the project). We were basically forced to follow the concept.

Oh, also, I can easily make the forum viewable to TI 3 mods only if that helps. None of the previous TI 3 posts were lost I believe.

I must concede that it's pretty easy to forget about the only thing SMBXR continued to be hosted for YUK YUK YUK That was a joke; please don't hurt me.

Anyway I once again vote let's not call it The Invasion 3. At the very least out of respect to Redigit. Sure, he has no plans to use that title, but at the same time, it seems more respectful to allow the decision to use it to be his alone. I'm okay with there never being an Invasion 3. There doesn't need to be an Invasion 3.

Why not, however, title it something familiar, or in hommage? Like The Invasion of _____, or The Incursions? The Infiltration? The Hostile Encroachment? The Insufferably Violent Territorial Infringement?
Use any of those. They're on the house. You're welcome.

Note that this project isn't going to become a community episode - so, basically, it should be privatized among a team of people. It would probably work out a lot better that way, anyway.

That team you're talking about is composed by TI3 mods and LDs, and as level designers can be composed by many of us, so telling us won't hurt. Besides, there's no point nor extra benefit on keeping it secret.

That's not what I suggested. I suggested hiding the episode but keeping the old LD-submission system (user sends level to SuperMario7 or other project mods).

Do I want "The Invasion 3" to continue? Not really. It just doesn't feel official without Redigit, maker of the original Invasions, around. Plus, it doesn't really feel like a "Invasion 1.3" is necessary past what's already with SMBX 1.3. SMBX hasn't REALLY evolved that much from 1.2

And by meaning you would create a forum for it like you said in the post from you. Did you already do that? Because if yes it doesn't matter 2 talk. If No then it matters and its much privately which can be revealed later 2 the whole thing here.

Aslong there won't be anything decided where it continues and if it REALLY will be. It may be on Hiatus for now we will know more when SM7 tells us.

I don't think it's being discontinued. SM7 is the only one who can confirm this nonetheless.

I'd gladly help! I haven't used SMBX in a long time, and now I have a reason to. Plus, I can make music in FL Studio if you need that.
