...but for me, I was not looking for a level editor at all when I found it six years ago!Joey wrote:"i.e." does not mean "for example"; you can think of it as meaning "in essence" (see here for details).
It doesn't work if you were searching for Mexican takeout because searching for that isn't searching for a Mario level editor.

This site did not exist six years ago? I downloaded SMBX on "17.8.10" so that would be more then five years ago. Sorry for being one off. Either way, I guess I am a unique case with this! I searched a way to play a Mario game online for free like looking for a SMW ROM or SMB3 ROM! I found redigit's site becuase he had a lot of Mario fan games on his site that were not SMBX! When I was younger, I always looked up new gaming sites, typically going to https://www.armorgames.com https://www.addictinggames.com and a few others like https://www.notdoppler.com and so on. You can see how I was not looking for an editor, but just a way to play a game. When I found SMBX, I did not learned about the editor until after I downloaded it. I did not learn how to re-size a section boundary until a month after messing around with the editor, and I did not figure out events and layers for another year or two. My point is, that I just was not looking for an editor! Thank you for understanding!if you were searching for Mexican takeout and for some reason this site showed up
