Ah. I'm really sorry, yoshiegg... But it seems the shell is sized down too much, and i'm also pretty sure there is 1x1 in there.

Thank you, but i'm not that great of an artist XD Plus the only thing i've posted here is really really old and my style have changed a lot.

Instead of respriting a smaller shell you took the original GFX and sized it down,hence the "transparent" pixels here and there.

Well As soon as there's 1x1 amongst every other 2x2 of the game (wich is really dumb IMO. They should've stayed with 1x1), it clashes.
1x1 is tolerable when you make EVERY other graphics 1x1, otherwise it will clash. Since I was going for an "authentic" feel with those sprites,having clash is not good.

What I do to make smaller versions of sprites is to do a basic resize in paint, then touch up the pixels so it doesn't look like complete ass. Example:

But honestly, you should just put a "K" in there instead of a shell.
edit: actually, think I might've come across as dickish. I apologize if so, I was just trying to give advice.
