Honestly I'd be down for a Sonic and Mario collab game since they are having the anniversary in the same year.

Well, let's get started
• Super Mario Galaxy 3
• Paper Mario U
• An out of the box sidescrolling game
• A new Super Mario 64 style game

The only thing im looking forward to this is seeing a more expanded Super Mario Maker. Because I am anticipating that its p the game that should be the end of making official 2D Mario platformers.

Wrong. Nintendo wouldn't stop making 2d Mario platformers because of Mario Maker, because, while there are many things Mario Maker CAN do, there are many more things it CAN'T do. Custom graphics? Nope. Cutscenes? Nope. Storylines? It'd probably be very difficult to do. Nintendo isn't going to stop doing what it does because of Mario Maker.

They should give the series a rest though. The last innovative 2D Mario Platformer was NSMBDS, which is almost a decade old at this point.

>MFW people mention that MM can't do Custom stuff yet
Even knowing that it can't now i will get MM i don't really give a damn if it ever can or never will get custom graphics. Bc that doesn't decide the fun for it imo.
Also i agree with Enjl they should try something new out like back in SM64, Sunshine, Galaxy we're you not just going from left to right.

Mario Galaxy 3 on the WiiU. How well would that work. The Galaxy games rely on the Motion of a WiiMote.
(also we don't need another Galaxy game. 2 was already '2' many.)

Maybe Nintendo could make an open-source Super Mario game for the Wii U and the Raspberry Pi and the Ouya and the 3DS.

Kill New Super Mario Bros.
Just do it. Release a public statement basically going "We're never making a New Super Mario Bros game again". End the presentation with all of the games except the original burning on a stake.
For new content? I don't know, anything's better than packaging a SNES game into a Wii disc and calling it an anniversary game. Never thought I'd say this, but maybe Mario should learn from Sonic and actually do things and take risks for anniversaries.

Wouldn't that be nice? On both things. It's like a wonderful dream- oh wait, that's exactly what is is, because Nintendo doesn't do anything but crap anymore.
