I don't agree with the implementation of such feature, but I don't think that scrapping the idea is good either. Since finding people that are dedicated enough to work on it and there's the fact that not always will there be any news worth mentioning on a day/month basis what could work is a Scripting Log. People would write normal scripts, being as biased as possible of course, about many things that take place or are posted in the community. It sort of works like a News System but at the same time it's kinda different. Instead of requiring people to write daily/monthly scripts people would do it whenever they like to and would remain archived somewhere in the forums. Said scripts could denote many things such as: episode reviews, recent events, announcements from users (would require proof and promise from author to fulfil such announcement), etcetera.

Joey has twice already locked topics when he doesn't feel like talking about how official these forums are, instead of saying "I quit" and leaving the topic.

"How official these forums are"
These forums are not official though. There was only 1 official one which was the one by Redigit the new ones that followed were never official. Joey's forum imo isn't official as well and nothing here will be official.
Why do we even need the so called Official stuff. When Knux called his forum official it only leaded into a storm of flames and shit.
So in short words: No smbx forum (Joey's, Knux's, NSMBX) are official and never will be official there was only 1 which was Redigit's forum. The End. Deal with that.
I'm fairly sure Joey knows by himself that his forum isn't official. And i understand why he locks those threads.

Why would I say "I quit"?

False. bikcmp's forum and TrekWeb were both official forums. This forum is official because it's the one that everybody recognizes as the SMBX forums. We don't have a name - we're just the Super Mario Bros. X forums, centered around the Super Mario Bros. X game.
CaptainSyrup wrote:Why do we even need the so called Official stuff. When Knux called his forum official it only leaded into a storm of flames and shit.
If I remember correctly, Knux called his forum "official" because he was mistaken about something Redigit said in 2010.
I don't go around calling this place "the official SMBX forums official official official knux sux" because nobody needs to do that. This place is, quite simply, the SMBX forums.

Adding a "Boss Fight Levels" Subforum in Levels.
Changing "Worlds" to "Episodes" on the main site.

Boss Fight levels should just go into Casual Levels imo.

No. Boss fights take effort. People want criticism on boss fights. Putting them in casual is an insult.

Not all of them do. Most of them are just vanilla bosses thrown into a death box with the player. But a subforum would be nice, so we can filter them away from the good levels. (They're not all bad)

I disagree that there should be a separate sub-forum for boss levels. As a judge, I know that we can just judge them for what they are and likewise separate the ones that took effort from the ones that are just a vanilla boss thrown into a death box with the player. As for being able to tell standard levels apart from boss levels, well, that's what their titles (and their first posts) are for!

Speaking of levels subforums, why not add one for intro levels? I think you learned the truth about the identity of the author of the one you were using a few weeks ago as you stated in that one thread, and I'd like to release an updated version of it.

Just a kindly question. I still don't get why Platgenwohl is not stickied yet Superiorstar's Shop is stickied. That means the staff supports his thread or? Bc i remember Joey said things the staff supports get the sticky.
Incoming hate from certain members.

The site name and site description are redundant (Super Mario Bros X Forums) (Forums for SMBX)
Why not something like "Super Mario Bros X Forums" "Welcome to the SMBX community!"?

Isn't that redundant too lol? "The SMBX forums" is the SMBX community what a novel idea

That's the way they've been on previous forums, not to mention it's on a style that isn't the default.

I have something in common with Kyasarin: we both prefer subsilver over the default style.

You'll need to ask an admin about that. I'm only a level judge, so I can't create new sub-forums (at least, if I can, I don't know how).
I do support this idea, however.

Can't find an IRC related thread, but something needs to be done about Ghostbot. 24 hour k-lines because it detects fast typing as spam is ridiculous.
I understand why it does that, but it's very easy to forget sometimes, and nobody bothers to remove the k-lines.
