Gohans not very smart, so I have no reason to believe that he came up with a plan to blame a random towny. Even if he did come up with this plan, I don't see why he would choose you to be a scapegoat for the lynching and not one of the blues.

The town has no way to kill people in this game outside of lynching, so we need to make sure every lynch counts. Especially with our firefighter dead.

So you're saying what I'm doing is suspicious because some one in a previous game who was Mafia did that same thing? It seems you're trying to create a nice little stereotype zlaker.

If you really think I'm Mafia, go have the Sheriff inspect me or something. The only problem I can see in doing that is if I turn up red or orange. I don't know my true color, so that can happen. If I don't, I'm guaranteed inoccent, but if I do, everyone will bandwagon on me and I'll die shortly after. What to do, what to do...

Technically their color IS relevant because, if the Sheriff is still alive, our all-important Deputy will be green (which kinda hides his identity).
