One of my favorite gameboy soundtracks

Would fit in Space/Space fortress Levels

Great for caves, works well in haunted caves.

Works well for levels where your character gets serious about their goal.

Ghost house material right here.

Great music for volcano levels.

It's not video game music, but whatever. It's good for sections where the player triumphs over their goal.

Probably because it pretty much just turned into people posting their favorite songs rather than a place where people can go to look for songs that fit whatever level they happen to be making, as was originally intended. The Level Music Suggestion Thread is actually better suited for that purpose, and even that's not too popular; I guess this isn't really something the community needs too often.

Anyway, this is good for final levels/bosses of story-centric episodes:

Here are my recommendations:

Good for: villages, friendly ambiences

Good for: space levels, maybe underground athletic levels too

Good for: underground lava ambiences, dark world levels

I think it sounds perfect for a final boss. So I recommend you to use this if you're making a final boss.
