Some progress on the NPCs. I'm currently just doing them pretty much at random without any given order, but if you want me to restyle a certain NPC, just tell me. If you want me to hcnage something with what I've already done, just tell me. I'm pretty happy with how it looks so far.
Looks good but, I believe the worm should have its normal wormy color.
And the submarine goomba should only have the helmet yellow, the rest should just be the normal goomba color
Looks like I kinda have mistaken the structure of the Submarine Goomba, I'll fix that.
Also, what do you mean by original color? The original SML2 didn't have any color, and I doubt the worms reappeared in a later game.
I mean like how a real worm would look like, in real life. Doubt if sml2 had color they would color the worms green unless it was some toxic zone or something.

Green worms also exist in real life, in fact, it was the first color that came to my mind when thinking about it. (I blame Caterpie)
A green worm has nothing to do with toxic, I could see why you might think that about the purple one though, but I felt like purple fits the spiky worm.

Definitely PGE. If you want I can also give you the tileset.ini files for the Custom GFX.

Eh I'll use basic SMBX , you guys can use PlatGen if you want, I'm just more familiar with SMBX engine.
I also know my ways around it.

Well, you should definitely use PGE editor because obvious pros. I kinda misread your question, the engine it's for should be SMBX because more people have it.

Also:
Those piranha planets are lookin good, especially those bees.
Also in the original SML2 the worms are found in the HIVE level so I believe the green color wouldn't really go with the level.
