Guys, the poll is now closed, and the final decision has been made, based on the poll, as to what will happen to the joke levels.
The joke levels will be hidden somewhere in the castle, accessed by a hidden door. The location will not be revealed to the player.

But the majority voted for them to be removed...Still, at least this is a hidden 'Easter Egg' of sorts.

Now you may be thinking about the futility of the poll, but it's there for a new purpose. It'll stay, but if more people want me to get rid of the joke levels, I'll hide them somewhere in Twilight Town and have them accessible via a secret warp that will never be revealed to the player. If more people want me to keep them, I'll have them accessible to the player with a sign saying something along the lines of "Joke levels". However, they will not have stars, but SMB3 ? exits instead. Only the super-secret joke level will have a star.
Sorry if that disappointed any of you.

If the player doesn't cheat and search around in the editor for the hidden door warp, then effectively they have been removed, because it is extremely difficult to find the joke levels without looking in the editor, as no hints will be left for the player. This will discourage them from looking for the joke levels as they have been basically segregated and locked away from the regular serious levels.
The super-secret joke level is gonna be hidden somewhere else, and a clue to its whereabouts will be given as soon as this episode is released.

Sounds perfect.

Think of ToB6's hidden door warp to that secret Elsa section and you'll see where I'm getting at. It's gonna be just like what ToB6 did there, except this time it's not obvious, but hidden where the player isn't expecting it.

It's great to see Great Castle Adventure being remade. I like it a lot but it needed lots of work, but I will give it credit because it was one of the first episodes. Really looking forward to this!

Thanks for the feedback. And about the credits thing, I've already taken care of that because I've mentioned krazykoopa under the credits section for "Special Thanks" as he made the original episode.

He meant credit as in "reputation" or "cred".

If you mean an uprep, then SpikyGecko can't uprep or downrep anyone until he gets 100 posts.

lmao, this made my day.
If you say "to give sth. credit", it's a compliment. A synonym would be "to respect sth".

Guys, I have an announcement to share about the remake and its progress.
As you all know, you're anticipating the release of the episode due to the fact it's a remake of one of the first grand episodes, made back in 2010. Work is still going on this to satisfy your needs, but the internet connection is broken on my computer, so I can't upload any screenshots until the problem is fixed. We should be getting fibre optic broadband soon though, then hopefully it should be fixed by then. On top of that, to make matters worse, my mouse cursor has frozen. I know it's got nothing to do with the batteries as I only recently got a new computer, put SMBX on it, and transferred all my levels and CGFX packs to it. My iPad still has internet, which is why I'm using my iPad to type this message.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this, but hang in there - we will be able to fix it soon enough!

The problems with my computer have been fixed! This means that the project is back on! Unfortunately, I'm typing this from college, so I can't get a screenshot out yet. I'll post screenshots sometime this week.

As I promised, there's a new screenshot coming your way! Here you go! This is part of the remade version of Stone Castle, and now it's more based on the SMB3 fortress levels, namely the one in world 2.

The new screen looks pretty good. It could use a bit more scenery though, and some pipes would be nice. Otherwise, keep it up.

I'm actually gonna add some pipes in this level. The original didn't, and that might spruce it up a little. Same with the scenery - remember that this is only just part of an incomplete level.

Keep it up!
Although I'd add more ruins as scenery to ads to the atmosphere.
