NANI! I made it past tier 2! That's a shock for me, really.

Hey, I didn't expect that one of the judges would actually reply to my comment on the reviews! Thanks, Chad! :)

What I would suggest doing for the midpoint is putting it between a few of the locks, and have the checkpoint NPC's "death" activation trigger an event that removes the first few locks and doors.
I would have been forced to remove one or two events (since for my level, I almost reached the limit of 100 events), but yeah, that could have been a solution. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try to remember it for future levels.

I don't recall there being much warning, but maybe little background object indicators (like little exclamation points) could appear above the ones that fall, a few seconds before they actually do.
Well, Birdo says something like "Beware, though, the floor is pretty brittle, it might collapse at any time." before the fight begins. I thought that would be enough of a warning, and when I tested the heck out of the level, I saw no problem whatsoever. The exclamation points would make the fight less unfair and more predictable, though, I gotta agree with you on that. I'll do something like that next time.

I don't remember there being any warning about the floor collapsing.

I am really getting confident about my level's final score and tier placement in this contest; when I first sent it to Valterri, I wasn't all that confident, but for some reason yesterday when I got bored I went and played my contest level again, I personally think it can manage to get an eight at least and get sort of high.

Good luck to the rest of you guys, though.

Probably tomorrow, considering Tier 1 went out yesterday.

Castlewars nothing ever said that Tier 3 was delayed until tomorrow. Tier 1 also went out two days ago and yesterday was Tier 2. One tier per day, mate.

Okay, I checked again now. It looks like I replaced the original dialogue with Birdo, which DID have the warning, with a different dialogue that DOESN'T have the warning. Sorry for making your life harder with that, I should have kept the original dialogue...

Yeah. He confirmed it on IRC yesterday. Tier 5 will be 20-11 and Tier 6 will be 10-1.

I still rant this contest as best.

The will be a 20 % levels that will be... hard. I don't even want to. What a great start.

Isn't for nothing, but Firespike33 is giving scores too low, almost the half of the scores than other judges are giving. This will harm a lot of people

Mostly 54th place. These scores are hurting too much.

Tier 6 will be 10-1.
I personally dislike that. I think it would be a lot more exiting if, for example, he revealed 10-3, or 10-5, or something around those lines instead of revealing all all the highest quality levels at once. It would be a lot more dramatic if some people see that they made it into the top five, top two, etc. I mean, it's not that big if a deal or anything, but I personally think it would be better.

He's going to do that. They'll just be part of the same tier for hub purposes.
