I would actually watch that and maybe even like it. Who knows?
The whole point of a YTP is to be weird, which is something I highly doubt they'd be comfortable doing. Plus, YTP's are all ways spoofs of licensed characters.

I guess it was a joke.

If everybody ignored it, it would go away. It's free advertising otherwise.
I totally agree with you.

What's wrong with Futurama
Nothing. Futurama is excellent. It feels like the emoji craze is something they would have made jokes about.
IWAD-ched that "12-minute video" and you know what? "THIS ABOMINATION" was made in Russia.

I guess we don't have to worry about accidentally giving The Emoji Movie free publicity anymore. :P

That movie will bomb and it will bomb HARD. (Universe with people who have sense)
The movie will be VERY successful (Universe where children rule and parents don't want to stay with there children for 24 hrs because it's summer)
In both universes reviews will be critical and the movie will suck.
It was more like both, but mostly people just came to see how bad it was.

It was ok IMO. Not great, just ok. I don't really have much to say other than that and the fact that the only reason why people were interested in it was because it involved emojis.

Bump This movie wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, IMO, I would say it a half decent movie. My only real problem was the, well, all the emojis.

Also, when will this movie be out for DVD/Blu-ray? Is there even a date yet?

It might be possible, but usually movies take a couple of months to get out on DVD

I never liked the concept and I knew it was going to be a bad movie since I saw it in the news

It was a bad movie but still Sony Pictures got money. Everything is about money now

Thank god the relevancy has died down a bit..lets not forget about "The Star", that movie can speak for itself.

Now, I didn't mind The Emoji Movie all too much...but this movie, it crosses my border well too much. I seen the trailer, and it looks like it's straight up insulting Christianity.

If there's any movie I would want to buy just so I can burn it, this would be the one.

sorry for double post. (I honestly think that I may be saying things like this too much lol)

I heard that the Emoji Movie did so bad that it almost put Sony out of business. I'm not even kidding. I actually liked it.

Surprised this topic showed up one day, I always thought the Emoji Movie looked like a cringefest to me. It's... just weird and... something else. I only recall a scene where they showed a Candy Crush Saga segment - like... what the heck?
