I don't see a problem here. Anyway, player needs a shroom to smash bricks above him. If he have not or lost it, he can replay this fragment instead of dying or suicide. It's normal thing for merio games.

Did you just freak out over above average scores? Reviews exist to help you improve, not to cry over and never look at again.

Aside from that, what's the point in having a judge lineup if mechdragon drags random people into a skype call and lets them influence the score? The point of a judge position is that YOUR opinion on a level was selected to be one of few which will make up the average score of that level for the contest. I have nothing against Prox or Superiorstar judging a contest, but if they do it they should be considered a full judge, not a body part of mechdragon. Especially since mechdragon doesn't even post reviews and I'd like to see what the others have to say WITHOUT sitting through an hour-long video where mechdragon points out oversights which nobody cares about.

Well done if you've understood MECHDRAGON's "reviews". I have no idea which level how many points did get.
And I must agree what Enjl said about watching a one hour laggy video about bad critizm and stupid deaths instead some good critizm and improvement. "No checkpoint", ignoring the fact that the level is not even 2 minutes long, and there are star coins which are required to get the star. Level 1: X score, Level 4: Y score.

Well... I guess I can call this the post-contest of... Uh... I don't know. Seems problematic.

I don't even know how people can trigger events just by having the player walk/jump to that position, without the use of any NPCs. Anyways, I'll be re-watching that Underground Contest video(by Mechdragon777), then maybe I'll say something, or until my eyes die out.

You're absolutely right. I haven't thought about that so that's fair enough. Being more awake now I understand the logic completely.

False, the lower score I gave was more focused on just the way the level was. I liked that it kept the player busy, but the overall feel of the level wasn't as well executed as it was in past episodes. I was just grumpy and annoyed with the english and power ups because they're just a repeated issue Camacho makes that make me question whether he follows my advice whenever I beta test his levels.
So did those two things have a large impact on the score? Of course not that's a terrible way to review. I simply shouldn't have emphasized them as much as I did in the review. So the score I gave still stands and I apologize you don't like it, but the review is there to reflect the general insight I had at the time. If you want a more indepth review to make the level better, please pm me and I'll be glad to do that.

Nevermind, THe average was marked down correctly, just not Prox's score...

Edit 3: 6.49266666... (This is the score upon re-averaging: 8.500+6.000+4.978=19.478/3=6.492666667...)

So Andialifbetara did not win just because Superiorstar mis-heard Prox.

Well if that's what makes the difference, the final result is a tie then. No questions asked about it. Too much is being put into this contest that was supposed to be a friendly thing for people to do. We can't take this that seriously for christ's sake.

Their reviews weren't submitted on time and won't be accounted for. Turtwig also pmed me saying he wouldn't be able to submit so I apologize. I only accepted Henry Richard's late because he was a backup judging, and Mechdragon's level was already out of the running so it wouldn't have affected the final result by much.

Honestly, I have not been doing my best for this, but come next contest, I will actually do written reviews. (Seems that the fact I video judge while on Skype or Discord seems to be the reason of this). Also, I will tell you this, Supermario7 is the user who saw my reviewing when I was really into it, and it seems it was best like that, so I will take my time from now on and not try to rush through all of the levels to get it over with. I will admit I actually take pride in what the next level theme is, if my reviews for the snow contest seem questionable, I will step down from the judging of the Thwomp-King's Contests. I love ice and snow levels to the point where I almost show a little favoritism to them, but still. I said almost. Since the next contest is one of my favorite themes, If I make questionable reviews, I will personally step down. How is that? I will admit I am annoyed that Andialifbatara keeps winning these contests, but still. (He also keeps making a level that is almost identical every time with it's setup where it looks like criticism is not taken) and he also keeps making the graphical flaws and cut-off more and more obvious every contest. Even re-suing parts of the same level with different graphics. Fells like he uses PGE to copy paste level pieces of his old contest (Visual to Weather). I only take off for this once, but still. Anyway, I hope I can still judge the snow contest.
