I made a bunch of NES stuff. It's mostly recolors of SMW stuff, but there's a bit of custom stuff in there.
Tileset:
Custom Castle
(almost) Custom Lava
SMW Grass
SMW Castle
SMW Blocks
NPCs:
SMW Powerups
SMW Spring
SMW Fish
SMW Boo
SMW Big Boo
Sorry about the Big Boo being hard to see.
SMW Banzai Bill
SMW Thwomp

I'm going for a certain style which is why the colors aren't very saturated. I wanted it to have a grey castle feel to it while having a tint of color.

Still, the fire looks strange with weak colors.
The problem with the rest is with the contrast. A little bit more and it would look ok.
