For example, how does the player know which areas are safe?
He may read the readme which says, "These hideouts are 1 block above the pit, they are usually SMB1 orange blocks. That's still not enough because you have to press down to be safe from instant death." Did I explain everything?
And why exactly do you expect that players will read the readme before playing? The LEVEL should tell you that, not the readme.
A level that got 6.5 from one judge and 0.0 from another?
I know that everyone has a different taste, but that is really extreme.
For 0.0 the creator really must have done EVERYTHING wrong. Just like a levelshould only get 10.0 if there is asolutely everything great about it. I think even if a level is terrible to play, the small things that are good or at least okay should also be appreciated.
But of course I haven't played the levels myself and can't judge the judges reviews yet. It is just that such a big difference in the ratings is really surprising.

It's good in some cases that judges have different opinions like this because it better represents a communal opinion

Lol, I actually got two extreme scores in a level once.
Some judges (not mentioning any names), aren't afraid to give a level 0/10 even if there's a few okay things in the level.
Pretty sure my level was basically "hey look at this lua thing I made" but somehow I'm not in tier 2, so that's cool. (Unless I'm blind and didn't see that it was there)

not in offense, but did any of the judges use the easy mode i put into the level; i specifically put it there for normal-skilled players.
so, will the compilation episode have bosses created by the cc12 makers? i would want to make a boss.
Should I assume that standard levels are the minority compared to Luna levels, or does it just so happen that a lot of the luna levels are the lowest ones?
