If so then you would expect the game to crash on many things Yoshi can eat, because Yoshi can eat many things.

The only thing that annoys me about SMBX is how some people make frustratingly difficult and/or overall bland levels for no reason. People have the right to make and post whatever they want as much as I'm concerned but the fact that there are specific level design choices that I don't like remains within me.

Levels with a frustrating difficulty. They are just annoying and not fun at all. Everytime I play a level of this kind I start to think: Let's just get this over with...
No one likes to play a level that is not enjoyable. Another thing that annoys me is when a level is not tested. I already found many mistakes when testing levels I made, an example of how testing levels is important.

giant open levels that might as well be linear that just aren't for some reason.

BUMP
in A2XT there's that Mario boss
I thought I had to lure him down the lava (which proves very much impossible), and I finally wanted to cheese it by giving myself a hammer, then I find that there is this invisible warp available from the beginning. If you kill the boss, you just get the doorframe that indicates it. And once the boss is in lava, you get stable ground, something you also couldn't know.

Wait... A2XT? You sure? That's like, an official episode... how could something as simple as putting a warp on a layer be overlooked in that kind of project?
Sticking with the theme of the thread, a few things I hate are:
- Water levels (mainly making them, because you can't just think about platforming, as the player can swim. Also it can be tricky to setup the water boxes in such a way so that water NPCs don't get killed if they somehow swim outside of the box)
- Ghost levels (I just don't like making them in most cases, I suppose it's just the depressing, ghost theme I dislike tbh)
- The long loading times that can occur when first loading up the SMBX engine / PGE editor
- Projectile spam
- Hard levels (especially Kaizo). Hard as in enemy spam, not many powerups, overly long, etc.
- Painfully slow autoscroll (Ironically, the autoscrollers I've made in the past WERE painfully slow!)
- The fact that lunalua is needed in many situations where you want something custom to occur. For example, with custom bosses, I'm always tempted to use Vanilla reskinned bosses simply because they are much easier to implement than writing the code (and ensuring it works) for a new boss.

Very difficult levels, stuff taking a long time to load due to lots of custom graphics/sounds, huge file size and cutoff

Cut-offs. ( First-time makers )
Broken SMBX effects ( Most older generations )
Having every enemy in one level. ( Dr Mekar )
Touhou-like battle with large hitboxes. ( The creator of Ancient Stars )
Enemy spam and flat level. ( First-time makers )
Bosses that are motherbrain and phased with long duration to attack. ( Dr Mekar )
Banzai Bills out of nowhere. ( Vanilla creators )
Glitches that ruined level gimmick. ( Me )

no matter how official something is, there's still a chance to have awkward things in it. An even better example is "Bronze Fortress", with some absolutely impossible spikes after the checkpoint.

That has ruined it's own share of speedruns for me. Speaking of that, I actually have something to contribute. The consistent inconsistency some glitches have that are required to complete some levels/speedruns.

These are all very annoying for me too, I also hate when people steal levels from other people's episodes

I played 307 episodes and made a list of the worst 50 bosses in SMBX
Can you send me a link to it?

Or, maybe he'll make a general topic of it. Who knows?
