First of all the pay check at the end of night 5 and 6,as stated before,says that it took place in 1987,and as for the first game,the place on the check were it should say the year simply says "xx" meaning we have no %100 when the first game takes place,second of all as I stated before,at the end of night 6 the news paper in the background reads"",and also as also stated before there were 3 places,and on night 5 the Phone Guy says that before the place that was closed down was called "Fredbears Family Diner",meaning that most likely this is what happened,"Fredbears Family Diner"was closed,and then the place in the second game was opened,but after being opened for only a few weeks,it was closed down,and then the place in the first game opened,and then they rebuilt and used the old animatronics again.And then theres still some more,at the start of night 6 the phone guy says this,and pay attention to what it says in bold letters,
'Hello? Hello...uh...what on earth are you doing there, uh didn’t you get the memo, uh, the place is closed down, uh, at least for a while. Someone used one of the suits. Okay,so first of all,theres this line Someone used one of the suits. We had a spare in the back, a yellow one, the one used in...now none of them are acting right. Listen j-just finish your shift it’s safer than trying to leave in the middle of the night. what this implies,is that someone took a yellow suit,most likely meaning it was Golden Freddys suit,which would explain why Golden Freddy looks so empty,but thats not all,listen to this line right here Uh we have one more event scheduled for tomorrow, a birthday. You’ll be on day shift wear your uniform, stay close to the animatronics, make sure they don’t hurt anyone okay, now as stated in the line above,the next day was going to be a birthday party,now this line implies alot of things,and one of them may have to do with the whole"5 kids were lured to the back by a guy in a Freddy costume"and with the whole,a guy taking and using a yellow suit,and the fact thats its a birthday party,means that the chances of the whole kidnapping event happening in that type is most likely.But then theres something else,The Bite Of 87 could of happened at the birthday party,first of all,the check as mentioned before at the end of night 5 and 6 says that the game takes place in 1987,and not only that,but The Bite Of 87 was nevered mentioned in the game,and then theres another thing,in the sentence that the phone guy says he says this"stay close to the animatronics, make sure they don’t hurt anyone okay," this line shows that the phone guy knows that the animatronics can cause some serious damage your not careful with them,but thats not the only thing,early in the game the phone guy mentions that the animatronics can actually just so happen to walk around DURING THE DAY,meaning that the animatronics can easily walk up to some one and even hurt them if there not careful,but you may be wondering,"Wasn't Foxy the one who caused The Bite Of 87?Since in that case how would he bite someone during the birthday party if him and the other old animatronics were in the parts/service room?"Well,in the first game,it isn't implied exactly which animatronic bit someone,meaning that theres still another one,that wasn't put into the Parts/Service room,Mangle,and with the longer snout,sharp teeth,and the fact that we can see that still can still open up her jaws and move around in the game from looking in the cameras and her death animation,we can see that she is also able to most likely cause some serious damage,not only that,but the fact that shes meant to be a "take a part and put back together" type animatronic,means that kids would most likely be getting REALLY CLOSE to her.
But now that we got all of that stuff covered,theres still what seems to be more proof one why the game could be a prequel,so here it is.
One the 6th nights phone message as well,the Phone Guy says this 'uh for now just make it through the night, uh when the place eventually opens again I’ll probably take the night shift myself. Okay, good night and good luck.'
so as implied,he said that when hes talking that he may take the night shift himself when the place reopens,and so now,lets take a look at part of the 1st nights phone call in the first game.

I'm finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact. So, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I'm here to tell you there's nothing to worry about. Uh, you'll do fine. So, let's just focus on getting you through your first week. Okay?'
Now this implies that The Phone Guy in the first game definitly worked there as a night watcher before you,and also as one on the reopening of the place,just like The Phone Guy in the second game said,and as you most likely already noticed by now,they both sound the same,and now you may be thinking or maby even strait up saying this"But the reason they may sound the same is just because of the fact that the phone guy is voiced by the same person in both games,Scott Cawthon."And so while this may be true,heres something I want you to answer,whats saying its not the same phone guy?
