Well, this feature existed in 38a. But where did it go in the PGE? I am actually looking for a place for requests about this feature.
I always wanted the Auto Paint feature to be in 2.0 where I could place wood blocks and watch them automatically align. You know what I mean?
That feature automatically places the top, bottom, left, right outer blocks.
You didn't have to place the outer blocks by yourself because the editor done it already!
Well, and that's it.
If anyone saw this or such feature already exists (in X2), make a reply.

Not really feasible AFAIK since PGE/Moondust doesn't have functionality for plugins as far as I'm aware, and even then you'd need to specify this for basically every tileset...

Maybe this could be made easier by first making variant sprites and then using plugins to call the sprite what sprite to draw.

So, I want more discussion about a bug that the installer only work on games folder and not any other folder. Just games. If I do another folder, it will not write almost everything. Ignoring it makes some files also failed.
This makes me abort the process and just let it go in games. Not program files x86.

I think the either the game or Windows itself won’t let it unzip there for paranoia reason.

I see... This feature really sometimes annoys me sometimes. But since this is like this, then I will just stay my smbx2 game just in root c games folder.

I found a problem.
This was happening to me since B4.
When I run the launcher, it shows a process in Task Manager but does not show anything. I was using the seperate Lunaloader and PGE EXEs to work and play, but this is a problem, right? It needs to be reported.
Specs:
Windows 10
Intel Core i7-6700k 4.00GHz
8.00 GB RAM
x64 processor and OS

These slopes here are semi solid, floorslope=1 and walkpaststairs = true.
However, from the right side, I can NOT shoot through the slopes, form the left side I can. In case of the left slopes I expect the result to be exactly the other way around. Pretty sure it is a bug as well.
Mario’s fireball cannot move up 45 degree slopes. Try it with Luigi or peach and see what happens.

Hi, I noticed that when I turn on animations on the editor, it consumes a lot of energy, even if I cap the animations to a really low value (like 10). When I disable them, the consuption goes from "Very high" to "Very low". Can this be optimized in another update? I don't like the static look of everything with the animations turned off. I'd simply wish the editor would animate whatever is on screen instead of iterating with every possible object (the limit even counts objects that doesn't even have animations)

Not really a bug, but if you put a spiketop inside the trampolines at various amounts then glitchy things will happen.

I can confirm that you are not the only person with this problem. I found a post from about two years ago on the Help and Support board talking about the same problem. Even since then, the problem has not been addressed or fixed. For now, you will need to run pge_editor.exe and LunaLoader.exe directly.

I'm unsure if this is a me issue, or an issue with this in general but I've noticed some of the .spc files have an odd crackling noise.
Specifically, I've noticed it with sf-corneria.spc. It's weird because if I play it in an actual spc player it's fine.

Talking about sound effects, I'd wish Star Coin's were lowered a bit (I personally find them too loud).
There are Star Coins (left starcoin-collect, right starcoin-collectall:
This is Dragon Coin for reference (other's such as collecting a coin, jump, spin-jumping share a similar volume):

The hammer brother suit doesn't protect the player from what I think are the new fireballs added in the last release, like the ones from the new SMB3 venus fire plant or fire chomp.

How feasible would an in-game code editor be? I think it would make the coding a lot more accessible/simple, because the developers could add things like errors to notify you if you make a typo, and you wouldn't have to open an external program like notepad or such. Not sure how well that would work for custom libraries, but it still is an interesting thought nonetheless.

Bug report!
When a Twister goes through a Grass container, when standing on it, it pushes the player towards the direction the Twister went through. (In the gif it went left, so when standing on a Grass container, it pushes the player to the left)
