Well if you dropped it at this height I don't think you'll be able to get it again. Who knows, right?

Well if you dropped it at this height I don't think you'll be able to get it again. Who knows, right?

It will have the same plot and concept, but completely different levels/features.

Today I was playing a bit through New Super Mario Galaxy X, my favorite SMBX episode and the one that inspired me to create this succesful concept for this project, which was failed by my cramped level design.

And as I said, I still like the concept and the ideas I had for this project, and some levels in NSMGX gave me a lot of motivation to work with that concept, and that's what I'll do. I'll restart the whole project and scrap those cluttered levels, but the episode will have the very same structure and plot.

I will try to make more open levels, more challenges, less difficulty, and a good part of those levels will be non-linear and for ability for exploration like in the real SMG.

However, I am not keeping the project as public as before as I won't reveal any information here. I will just make a channel dedicated to it in my Discord server. The team will be also much smaller.

Are you saying you're redoing everything from scratch?

If so, crampness is not a good enough reason, just make your levels wider instead ...

Yes I will redo everything from scratch, but the fact that those levels were like that wasn't the only reason, I also want to put more challenges on them and make them able to explore like SMG, as I said. You can't explore those levels, for example there's a non-linear way where you'll collect the red coins and that makes it seem like the levels are able to explore but they aren't. To be honest it's easier for me to restart rather than continuing it the way it is now

Sorry, I posted this before the title was changed. So I was unaware.

I literally hadn't finished any level with those plans I mentioned lol but I found our old progress.

Even though not as big as I thought it would be, it's coming in February 2020, with most of the levels from the screenshots.

Most likely it was delayed :/

or it will actually be released at the very end of the month

I regret setting a release date tbh lol

It's a mess to work on this computer so I'll just wait until I get a better one.

(now it's definitive, because I have said that countless times)

It will not be released anytime soon :D but it will.
