Come to think of it, Donkey Kong is quite realistic. Primates are usually very large, strong, and somehow known for using barrels; hammers break wood and can stop fires; and humans usually cannot survive jumping twice their height unscathed. There's probably even a logical explanation for the living fireballs and fiery chickens. Maybe they're Mario's coworkers who were set on fire, with some hanging out in oil cans?

All of this could also simply be a stretch.

In the "Bad" Jojo's Bizarre Adventure game on the Super Famicom, you can kill your foes with insulting comments

They always said words can hurt, but never did I expect it to be able to literally cause harm physically and even kill!

I think that's how the rpg battle system worked for that Jojo game, as every character has 2 types of health, HP & MP

If you are playing a Mario game (or pretty much any platformer or RPG) and you know which direction is the one to the finish, go to the opposite direction.
Now when I think of it, it makes very little sense :P

In Dance Dance Revolution, you "dancing" is just stomping your feet on the panels with good timing. Konami is brilliant! ^^"

The fact that most games have the protagonist mute, or hard to understand (every LoZ game besides CDI-Link, Mother Series [Constantly changing in Mother 3 from Lucas, to Flint, to Duster, to Salsa who was already mute, and back to Lucas], pretty much every Mario game, the Kirby franchise, etc.).

Here's something to prove my point on the logic on the "Bad" Jojo game for Super Famicom:

This YouTube video covers the whole logic of killing your opponents with insulting comments

I would've taken your word for it even without the proof.

BUMP!

In Streets of Rage 2, you don't die when you got a knife thrown in your face, you just take little damage.

Mario can survive falling several stories...
...but falling off screen is an instant KO.

That logic only applies to the 2-D Mario games (Not including Mario 63)

Doing a kick or ground pound near the ground also prevents fall damage, and only exists in 64 and and sunshine.

A Pokemon can use the move self-destruct and be recovered easily.

This is more directed towards consoles but how come nobody uses old consoles like PS3 or XB360 but everyone uses oldER consoles like NES and SNES?

7th generation is probably not as nostalgic as previous generations.

WiiU is backwards compatible with Wii, Xbox one is backwards compatible with Xbox 360 and Xbox, PS4 has various re-releases from the PS3 and allowed people to upgrade their copy.

As for Gen 6...
Wii is backwards compatible with Gamecube, Xbox one is still backwards compatible with Xbox, and PS4 has various re-releases from the PS2.

As for Gen 5... People still use those consoles, cause that's where modern compatibility typically ends.

In most of the "The Legend of Zelda" games, fairies comes out of the bottles they were trapped in, and revives the fallen hero.

Explain This!

In Minecraft you can safely pick up lava in a bucket and carry said bucket.
