Um... i had chill since Thursday and i'm fell better now so sorry for my reply and delayed MxW3 about 3 days.

What this line does is draw a square of the colour
0.0,
0.0,
0.0 with opacity 90% over the entire screen. What you want to do is turn down the opacity to something like 30%
If you're loading an actual black image file, you're doing things wrong/in an unoptimized and overly complicated way.
Thank you for the tutorial! I will reduce the opacity ASAP.

I didn't make the HUD.
I'm using Sednaiur's custom smbx.exe which uses 1x1px things.

I'm currently working on this now. This level started at 4 May, delayed for 4 days because i'm sick and do some brainstorming. It's 75% done now.
(i'm still have 2 screens of this level so pls wait until May screens part 2 is release, also part 2 will contain Nessy's level screen(s).)
Level (still idk) : Aerial Arsenal


These screens show a simple blue shoe gimmick (i never use this gimmick before, although it's simple)
I also fixed the opacity of my
werewolf level.
How does it look now?

Those levels look really nice. I like the darkness now. It's not really dark like black anymore.

I'm just finished Candy Land 3, and remaking Woodfall Breeze and making some levels for some contests.
Also i'm still have some screens, but you will see them in Part 3.

Update :
- Now this project will have postgame levels, you can play them after you beat the final boss, The Ultimate Phantom.
- Updated Progress
- Now this project is Lunalua Mandatory, because I'm just realized that .png graphics are better than .gifs sice pngs doesn't need masks and they increase the loading time.

The cave ones is Ness-Wednesday's level, and the wolfy ones is my WIP level.

Well they do increase them, just not as much as .gif sprites do.
