Why not just call it 1.4?

(If there is a SMBX 1.4 already, You could also call it 1.5)

Why not call it 2.0?

Why not call it 2.0?
Because what happened to 1.4 - 1.9?

1.4 is not the same as 14.
2.0 is not the same as 20.

Version numbers are not just to be given numerically, if something contains a big improvement, like this does, 2.0 is appropriate.

By that logic, what about 1.10? Or 1.23? Or 1.225463636573?

Why wasn't 1.3.0.1 called 1.4??

It's possible to create a console in future SMBX versions? With it, you could type commands and cheats, and it would be even more usefull when the online mode is released.

It will never be released for SMBX.

I thought online functionality was going to be added in SMBX 2.0+
Don't worry, Lua or Wohlstand will do it ;) I'm inclined to always be positive

But we don't have SMBX's source code, there's no way we can add it.

Even with LunaLua?

Try to think how can we add something absolutely new in SMBX. Also notice how we can't change anything in the original SMBX Editor, even with LunaLua - we don't have SMBX's source code.

Understood. Let's wait for PGE.

But the question of the console, it's possible to create a console?

violaton of game posting rule #1 (games, espacaily smbx seqals should contain new content AND most importantly SAID CONTENT MUST BE POSSIBLE TO USE )
violaton of game posting rule #2 (games should be easy to download and not take all night TO download)
violaton of game posting rule #3 (the site you have made a link to has an INCREDIBLE amount of spyware and malware , so just use dropbox )
:x

Well, believe it or not, and idk if I'm supposed to say this, netplay is possible to add to SMBX.

But right now don't get your hopes up. It's VERY far down on the list of things to do and WON'T be in 2.0. Maybe that'll be the key new featured added to 3.0 or 4.0 or something. But yeah, it's under consideration. Just... VERY low on the list.
Not only that, but it's an extremely intricate and difficult thing to get working properly, so would take a lot of time and effort that at the moment needs to be spent on other things (like polishing up the new characters). It will be a while before anyone is in a position to really even consider implementing netplay, though it is technically possible to do.

Why can't SMBX 2.0 run on win32? Because it doesn't work for me at all.

Well, I have windows XP.
EDIT:
After extracting, the files are all 0 bytes for me. How can I solve that?

the c++ redistributables that this uses i'm pretty sure will only run on vista/7 and above.
