This reminds me of my first level "Secret Desert Tar Sands". It was horrible compared to this. Can't wait to play this level; the atmosphere looks amazing.

Gee! That looks great, fun and nice. The atmosphere is really happy but it's still not pink or bright green overload.

Converted one of levelengine's publically released graphics into SMBX. You can see the original on SMWC's graphics section.

This looks very interesting, although I immediately see two issues (besides the lack of enemies and coins):
1. The windmills' blades are too sharp/curved.
2. The foreground clouds really clash with the tileset and background.
This does look very different from normal levels and I can't wait to see how it turns out.

I like experimenting.

(bowser is attached to an invisible mouser)
If only the attach to layer could work properly here...
It's too basic in my opinion. The entire section is always dodging enemies, and it gets old after a while. You should add something that can make the level interesting.

Cool level, the pink clouds Were combining a lot with grass! I was thinking of making a level with These houses, but not like this level.
Effect really cool, how are you will using it

Everyone's posting their lua things? I better post my unimpressive first-time lua thing
the gist is that the ducks are platforms and disappear if they get shot. I also plan on implementing yellow cross-hairs that kill any NPC and red cross-hairs that also hurt Mario.

Pretty cool, though it'd be even better if the crosshairs moved.
Also, while we're all posting lua things...
Some snow .gif I found on the interwebs (and sonicstooslow):
Giant note blocks with slopes and sizables:
World map with level previews:

That's actually pretty easy to do, all you have to do is put the crosshairs on a moving layer.
Edit:
You mean like this? This is p much as far as I plan on taking this concept lua-wise, as I feel like this is enough to make a decent level.

Trying out the unofficial 1.4.1 repack. I gotta say that I'm digging these "additions".
