I think he means that they are blindly following a trend that some people hate, I don't count Roblox though, even though it is freeware, it's just a game to be enjoyed by children and some people, Fortnite, on the other hand.

Perhaps using the "Not Interested" feature on fortnite content would help? Or maybe you're just subscribed to the wrong people, cause I haven't had a single fortnite video recommended to me so it's definitely possible to escape them.
