Yeah someone moved all the #BTB levels to casual, they were then moved back and the person who did it lost their position.

What matters is threads are supposed to be deleted under special circumstances, both Joey and Valtteri said what happened was wrong, but it's been turned around on me then and now again with you as if I did something wrong. I've raised the issue each time the thread was deleted, and I even reported the PM - once I finally got one - with my thread quoted but deleted with no reason. Nothing happened each time so now I make backups of my posts in case anyone gets trigger happy and deletes it. With this situation it was first deleted because my topic was BTB related (even though it wasn't if you actually read it), it was then deleted and I was told there was already an LD tips thread and I for some reason now need to ask Valtteri's permission to post discussion threads, and finally I had to post in General so that the LJs couldn't get to it. Am I really that crazy for calling bullshit when there's no accountability for the misteppings of the LJs and the excuses keep changing?

I was being obtuse - we didn't demote anybody because levels were moved (it may have contributed, but I can almost guarantee that it wasn't the sole reason). It's the same thing as when you complained that things weren't getting done based on what you were seeing in the "Who's Online" list. Just because you, AeroMatter, don't see things happening, doesn't mean they're not happening.

The Who's Online list isn't my only source of information about what goes on. I talk to a lot of people here to find out what's going on, and the Who's Online list just shows interesting patterns is all. It's not just me, AeroMatter, that's observed these things. I've talked to LJs, former LJs, mods, former mods, and Pseudo every once in a while and though they don't leak anything but they do speak up about some things. I know you guys talk in the LJ/Staff/Admin forums and PM, I've been there, I understand what you're saying; but when it comes to "things happening" it's irrelevant. Talking in private, when it even happens, isn't things getting done. What would be getting things done would be having your mods go out every once in a while and share some things going on, do some Q&As even, and moderate - if you will - the situation between user concerns and the staff. There's no harm in communication and it's really in your best interest because you use the word "we" a lot when the staff is a house divided. The optics just don't look good and when there is blatant abuses that don't immediately result or are not the "sole reason" for actions being taken, the situation is troubling to say the least. Do you understand what I'm saying here?

Aero, do you understand that you're holding everything that happens here to your own standards of what should be done? We're going to disagree on things. You keep trying to turn this into an issue of "staff transparency" when that's not the problem. I don't even know what the problem is anymore, besides you having to vocalize your disagreement with everything all the time and the fact that the LJ group needs some work or needs to be removed. You keep up with this "I know what goes on" attitude, but you simply don't and are further perpetuating the idea that the staff of this forum is some sort of other being with controversial discussion going on within it all the time.

For example, since I know this may not be clear, you saw that a judge was "demoted" after moving a bunch of #BTB levels to a certain forum. Just because these events happened within a short span of time doesn't mean that one caused the other. Now, let's say no "demotion" took place but you thought there should've been: it's not your decision. Do you see that sometimes we're going to disagree on things?

Then give examples of other threads that have been deleted in a way such as yours was. If you only bring up discussion about things that happen to you, you're going to make it seem like you only care what happens with you, and I quite frankly have been seeing a lot of that from you recently.
What level judges need to be demoted by your standards?
Who needs to get punished by your standards?
Who is in the wrong by your standards?

How come it's now that you like to point everything out that you see as wrong, but you never made a big deal out of things when you weren't staff?

For example, since I know this may not be clear, you saw that Sanct was "demoted" after moving a bunch of #BTB levels to a certain forum. Just because these events happened within a short span of time doesn't mean that one caused the other. Now, let's say no "demotion" took place but you thought there should've been: it's not your decision. Do you see that sometimes we're going to disagree on things?
I've said the opposite about the staff discussions in that they're mundane and wouldn't even be harmful if they were viewed by the public. It's the secrecy that's odd when there's nothing to keep secret about (maybe except SMBX 2.0 stuff and user threads) and causing problems for your staff especially. I'm not deciding anything here, you have when you put up your own standards for how things should be handled here. You've just said you don't defend what Sanct did and that you think it was wrong. I'm going off your standards. When someone abuses their role, they tend to be demoted right after just like what happened to Kley and Quill. I understand there's disagreement, but that's why I'm talking in the first place. I wouldn't be pointing out everything that's wrong here if I thought everything was okay and agreed with how it's being taken care of.

I'll take this one line by line.

I don't keep a log book and micromanage every forum looking for deleted topics that aren't there anymore.

1. All of them by principle.
2. The ones who abused their powers.
3. ^
4. ^

I don't know what you're talking about because I did talk a lot about this place's problems then. I would go between this forum and the staff forum and at the time while I was staff the thing I kept talking about was this site's security against botnets, and IRC security. IRC died out because it's old and dead for one, but also we went from ~40 people online during the summer to barely making it in the 20s after the spam bots came. I've raised the issue a bunch of times saying we need to implement better software to keep out as much of the spam as possible, or even switch to Discord - which has now worked out great by the way for chat activity - but still now just like then they were still just suggestions. I didn't drag them through the mud though because at the time there wasn't as much stonewalling for even the smallest changes, so I guess that's different now. Everything that I've ever suggested has worked great as far as they were implemented and not deprecated by other people's inputs.

ShadowStarX moved the levels to Casual, not Sanct.

How did they? It seems to be that you have personal grudges against specific people, judging from what you've said about them in the Discord's voice chat and main chat.

This loops right back around to what I said in the first post I had made against you, and it's just going to loop around again and again. Looks like we're done here, then.

Would it be too out there of an idea to get rid of the H&S forum, and make a discord channel for support questions instead? Or maybe remodel the H&S forum into a tutorials forum that can be linked to from the Discord channel?

Curious, because there's benefits to real time support.

I think completely getting rid of the Help and Support forum would be a bit too much, at least right now. I definitely think there should be some kind of #help-and-support channel on Discord that is promoted in the Help and Support forum as a quick and easy way to get help with SMBX quicker. There are some good tutorials now; I'm not sure what more is needed in terms of that. Right now though, I think getting rid of the Help and Support forum is too big of a jump, but in the future if it seems to fizzle out and really shift to Discord that would make sense
