It certainly looks the part of a deep forest and that tileset certainly fits well with the theme. My only concern is placing solid blocks or NPCs on top of sizables. To me it seems weird that there is something solid on top of something you can jump through, but that could be just me. Overall though it seems to be coming together quite nicely.

Silly me, just noticed something in the screenshot that I didn't fix prior to taking the screenshot.

See that eyesore of a tree behind the big bush? Yeah, I removed it. Just took a screenshot before doing so, and didn't realize it until now.

I based the start of a bit from Mario Classic by Zephyr the rest is not remade from it.

I made the start look similiar to the one from Zephyr's episode Mario Classic 3-C1, but yes i was mostly inspired by Hydrocity to make this.

You should seriously change the palette. Also, please don't recolor the outlines.
