Definetly not, since our calendar is an abstracted version of the calendar in ancient rome. They started with March, though, And had part of the months named after their emperors or gods. We still find 'March' in the planet Mars for example.
The others were numbers.
September means as much as 'the seventh month'
October 'the eight'
November 'the ninth'
December 'the tenth'

And since a bunch of languages have roots in latin language, it makes sense that these numbers sound similar.
