Darn communication error right at my last race! It appears I still won, but I wanted to race one last time against Kyo. Also, my condolences to Fire Mario3434, who doesn't get any credit for beating me.

FireMario/George should have won this, but his points mysteriously reset and he didn't appear on the leaderboard in the end anyway. Super strange, but he was the one who won for sure.

A fun and challenging time for sure! I might not make it next week, but as always, we'll see. For future tournaments though, how about this: Team Race with ridiculous names (and perhaps with CPU to balance the teams), Tilt Controls Only, Frantic Mode Items, and Mirror CC, all in 16 (or 32) races.

I can't believe I ended up in the standings for my single successful race that I placed pretty unremarkably in. =P

Final items, no only, Fox Destination I think a standard setup is fine. Mirror or Teams could be fine, Frantic Mode could be a considerable challenge. But Tilt Only would be exclusionary to people (i.e. me) that really don't work well with tilt controls. If I work things out on my end next week, I'd rather not have my first real participation be one that restricts the controls to something I'm not good with.

I feel like I chose the wrong setup for the races (or I just didn't unlock the right set yet, lol). All I accomplished were two 2nd ranks in the training session before the tournament; the two races I had were close ones, but I came in last both times and had to go after that, so I couldn't make up for it. I'm gonna experiment a bit in the next time; maybe, on next Saturday, you'll see me with a different character than Yoshi. Maybe.

Also, for the spicing-up, I'd rather say Frantic items than Mirror Mode, though both will make things harder, you will get used to the mirrored courses after a while and after you've beat the MM Grand Prix. I'm a passionate Wii Wheel user, I don't support the idea of Tilt Control only. Team or Solo, I don't mind.

I say Frantic items, team race with cpu [for balance] and funny names, any control, but also have everyone pick somebody else in a different weight class, for example: [Quill he/she uses toadette, he/she would then use a middle or heavy weight like luigi or Morton, me and SL use a light or heavy weight, etc.] and if we really tried and knew who was going to race in the next tournament and everyone picks who someone else is, example: [Quill chooses who Sl is, SL chooses who Chad is], I choose who Quill is etc. and I will leave it at that for now I suppose since that is a lot, and lastly I might or might not make it to next tournament. Thus ending my "speech"

Also, we should try a Battle tournament eventually, since, as we all know, that mode is great. I also just want to run around racetracks with no purpose, watching as Quill weaves all over the road, Kyo clips through the air, and Fire Mario3434 throws too many Green Shells.
