It was some level but maiby the best thing to do to fix it is to remove the when you die, you restart the level and the last door used and all level with snow fall had a little lag every 5 seconde.
I cannot do anything if you cannot tell me which level it was. The snowfall thing is not an issue for me, I cannot fix it, it only happens on older/lower end hardware. Unless you have a decent modern computer, it's most likely because of your specs. I will see if I can find out which level it is.
Im going to test to die in all level:

Level 1-2, the spawn is weird if you die

Level 1-3, debug message if you die but dosent look to break the level

Level 3-A, if you die, there is no debug message but the screen stop at the first pipe and you cant continue and have to exit the game and really need to try to do the level without dying

Level 3-4, if you die, the water is still there but has no collision at all, the daulphin all fall off the map and you cant swim, it just like fake SMB1 moving water

Level 3-C, debug message if you die and it make some snowflake dissapear but if you die again, it get fixed but dying after do debug again and dying after fix again, etc... but dosent break the level

Level 4-5, if you die, some of the water tile dissapear

Level 5-4, debug message if you die but dosent look to break the level

Level 7-A, that level have a left scroll lock when you go to the right but it make you fall forever and have to exit the game if you die

And what is weird is that while testing all level, I also found out that the 2 switch palace have been unpushed back so I pushed them back again, that strange, it also save.

And that all, thank you for making this episode, i really liked those level with new stuff from beta 4 :)
Thanks for the feedback. I didn't get any debug messages.. You can watch my LP here. 4-5 bug is known, since you can complete the level, I didn't bother fixing it.

I use SMBX b4 patch 2, btw I get a debug message after skipping the credit by beating any episode and it say no enough memory but the save still save and show 100% (Exept your episode end at 97% that is 100%) so Idk if is it the download or just the version with all patch in it because I downloaded it like 1 month ago because I lost all my stuff by changing HDD to SSD or something else Im missing.

It appears you are suing MP3-ified versions of SMW custom music in "A SMBX Episode". Is there any reason to using them in MP3 format rather than in the SNES SPC format, which SMBX2 supports?

When I started creating the episode, I didn't know SMBX supported it, I realized it late and didn't want a mix so I just kept using it. Also i'm not sure how well custom sampled songs work.

Ah, okay. They work fine, as you may see from the vanilla SNES music (they are SPCs). Of course, that does mean going back through everything and replacing everything with SPC, so that may take a while. Feel free to leave it as it is.

Yeah this project is long finished. In my next project (Blade of Justice), All the tracks will be using SPC! Thanks for your support!

You know, when you make a message but want to remove it, you can do so as long as nobody replies, just use the fancy "X" button.

Gee, post titles were confusing.

I wanted to see what came from this in the meantime. Guess it's still receiving patches?

It's not really receiving patches anymore, I just redid this thread since it used to be a compilation of all my episodes and since 24 Stars is no longer available for download, it doesn't make sense to have broken links in this thread so now it's exclusively A SMBX Episode. I have not updated this since early this year but I do have plans for a remaster at some point. I don't know why this posts got more views after I updated it, it always does that for some reason, maybe someone thought it was new. Eh, whatever, could always use some clicks?

But it has changed a lot and is now in a what I would call playable state, but it's nowhere near my current project in quality, which is why I'd like to do a remaster at some point, it had a lot of potential imo.
