Except it's not. By all means continue to use 38A if you want, but SMBX2's scripting functionality is a lot more robust, reliable, easier to use, and can do more stuff. It's all round a better scripting system.

ok but like what folder in particular? like just any folder?
besides, how do you even extract stuff on windows 10 anyways? i looked it up and all i got was how to zip/unzip a file

Yeah any folder should be fine outside of extracting in the same folder of other smbxs, don't do that and also i don't use windows 10 so idk how this process go but i have friends who use win 10 and have managed to extract the files. Maybe google the solution to this problem?

real changelog: removing a variety of scriping functions, screwing over all the work from scripters, destroying backwards compatibility, other annoyances that are talked about in the 38A server, etc etc

with so much indignation over this "update", I don't think Yoshi021 will bother to update this thread

also I played the first levels of "The Invasion Revolution" and it's not really a revolution thus far

Its been a while since I updated this, but we are now at patch 31.1 (yes patch 31.1 not patch 32)

When I extract the files everything goes well, nothing goers wrong, but when i opened the folder, being pretty excited from the videos i had watched on it, I realized the .exe file was missing, I thought at first that it was me not extracting all the files, so i just extracted the .exe file by itself, that's when i noticed that the .exe file wasn't there, i just extracted it again, with the same results, I deleted both files, then downloaded it again, this time the .exe file lasting for a few seconds before disappearing again, i then turned off my antivirus, but the same thing happened, I dont know how to fix this anymore, I even tried to download it from Firefox AND Microsoft edge, in which the same thing happened, does anyone know how to fix this?

This is an issue with your antivirus. You need to open your antivirus' settings and add an exclusion to your SMBX folder
