Yeah, I agree, the dirt looks like it's cut off! But I still think that other than that, it looks pretty nice!Enjl wrote:Why not just use the standard SMW look? This is so uglyyyy. ESPECIALLY the dirt.bossedit8 wrote:Something utterly simplistic...

Woah! That looks great! I especially like that background, where did you get that from? I do wanna know what the gimmick of the level is, and what TCOD2 stands for! (The Crypt Of Dongs 2, maybe?HVMetal wrote:
TCOD2 - Bullet Blast
The sizables in the background have a black outline and that makes it confusing.HVMetal wrote:Spoiler: show
Thanks! I made the background using the SMB3 cloud background, then copy-pasting some sizeables and the fog. The main gimmick is hidden in the name of the level: The Ceiling of Doom 2 or Bullet Blast. The main goal is to survive the bullets which strike you from above and a single touch independent from your form will kill you and anything else except piranhas ( because they are immune to lava ). This level is just a plan, its not official.Snessy the duck wrote:Woah! That looks great! I especially like that background, where did you get that from? Thank you for pointing that out.RudeGuy07 wrote:The sizables in the background have a black outline and that makes it confusing.
You're right it makes sense now, also thanks for the tips on block placement.PixelPest wrote:I don't think 8-bit music would be good for it and it's also just killing me that the blocks are stacked in different ways; I'd suggest placing them the way you do them near the top of the screen throughput the whole level
You should remove the trees imo. It does not really fit with the atmosphere of the level.Camacho wrote:
