It should work on firefox. That's my main browser, and the download link works for me just fine.

well here's the thing, the block ids are different and some of the npcs are using different ids, so it's generally not a good idea.

Then you will have different tiles and npcs replaced since bootleg Smbx and chad Smbx are different in many ways.
