@KingBowserKoopa: Design looks really well made! I like the NPC placement here (even if there are some weirdly placed ones, such as a Dry Bones on top of some random question blocks and underwater Shy Guys), and the overall atmosphere is fine.

@RudeGuy07: Great job with the level design! This level seems really fun to play through. The tileset is good, but it might lack some color variety.

@Squishy Rex: Interesting graphics mix! Those fit surprisingly well, and the atmosphere is rather unique overall. The Rex playable looks good, but it would be nice to show some more frames if possible.

Also late but nice work @OrangeJack, the aesthetics there are excellent. The clouds with priority over the ground are simple but add a lot to the overall atmosphere, I'd really like to see more of that.

I started with SMBX recently, and this is the first level I made with it (just used PGE to take the screenshot). I used some other engines so I have a basic knowledge about level design.
Man, that level looks amazing! May I ask how did you make those priority-clouds? They seem to use a lot of graphical space, and only few BGOs actually have priority over blocks and NPCS.

It's an NPC replacing the SMB2 mushroom, with some npc codes on it. It uses "foreground=1" so it has priority over everything (or almost everything). The graphic itself is 4096x270.

Why does it replace the SMB2 Mushroom? A SMB2 Mushroom Block would be a better idea.

Again, another collab level, this is Spacestation Invaders, the idea behind this is kinda like the maindeck in metroid fusion, this is just the lower deck, more sections coming soon.

(Remember, it's still in development.)

Why the starting positions are floating?
Looks good anyway.

The reason why i did that was to give it an landing effect, i tought it would be kinda cool. But anyway, if people don't like it i can still chance it.

Because I'm not using the SMB2 mushroom. Also, when I tried to use with a solid NPC, Mario couldn't walk behind it because he started jumping automatically over it, with a "kick" effect (effect-75).

Unless that's from an already made level you can change the clash you know. There are even subsitutes in SMBX (like SMB3 hills for SMB1 hills).

What do you prefer about it? Is it just on principle?
